Anyone notice?

I wonder why?

I think it was the thread on having a sticky for newbies?

Mods - any explanation here or are we sweeping this one under the rug?

Thread about what sir? Er... I'm not a mod but just curious

I think it's the thread someone started asking for like a Do's & Don'ts for newbie on the track..

Thread was started by me.. in the hope that it will help the track newbies.

Somehow it got turned into a flaming thread and went way off topic.

So I.as the thread starter, I have the right to asked for it to be trashed. So it was trashed.

I will post up another thread with regards to the do's and don'ts for track newbies later.

This one is extracted from a magazine I got from USA.. it teaches a newbie how to prepare for a track day, with regards to himself and the bike, the right track etiquette and attitude to adopt, how to get the most out of it and enjoy one's first visit to a track.

I flamed it because people want the easy way out - post a sticky and everything will be alright.

Dude, you lived in the states and should know as well as Hilary that the briefing is the way to go - why people are ignoring this is a mystery to me.

We all have access to a full track ride briefing powerpoint that was made up by the old guard (Armand Ali, Kelly Jones & Audrey) of Sepang on msportbike.com?

Dont you think that would be better? I can email it to you.

It covers all the major points with pictures and coupled with briefings, has been used to great effect so far in Sepang.
