Ya la. Btw theres so many ways to make the SP sound la..But just play safe loh just buy spare tong end can la..than when inspection dun have to worry much as u go change back to stock. who knows if u go tong your stock pipe than at last they fail u at inspection. very troublesome sia.

I'm all forth for one's freedom for doing what you want with your bike, despite the legality or the excess noise or air pollution you will put forth through your decision based on that "freedom".

 

Just one thing to take note of, if you really like the sound that much, Please try to limit whacking your bike on the expressway or far from residential estates. Trust me when I say this but No One, not even fellow riders think it's cool if you blast your "tonged" pipe through housing areas in the wee hours of the night. Actions by some riders on the road tend to give fellow road users a bad impression on motorcyclists, but whining your bike and waking everyone in the 10 block radius up give EVERYONE a bad impression on riders.

 

I keep my silencer on my r6 all the time apart from track and even then I still feel guilty about starting my bike to go out late at night. If everyone is as self centered and not give a heck like some of those who commented here, how can one get mad if they hear non riders shooting down on motorcyclists on Stomp or anywhere else?

 

Forgive my little tirade, but I wish you would exercise consideration once you've gotten your modifications done.

Hi bro. I understand how u feel. Even i hate waking up wee hours in the morning by 2 stroke tong pipe. i know its annoying sometimes. Anyway as i am a newbie here. i do make mistakes. Yeah i know as i am new into riding, Certain modification can make me go wild as i love bikes. I dun wish to give bad impression to any non-riders and motorcyclist. Some bros here also told me dun tong the pipe as u dun wish to donate $500++ if u get caught. As nowdays TP are serious about that. Last mth my friend kena. Haiz!...ANyway the purpose of this thread is i wish to know about pipe and stuff about SP. i really gave a very deep thinking and found out that "WHY TAKE RISK"? So i decided not to go further with my wild thought and stick to my stock pipe and not to disturb the peace of our beautiful city. Anyway Thanks alot for all those advices and information. *CHEERS*

On 2 strokes I prefer the stock sound. The little bit of bass from the backpressure is nice.

 

The high pitched aftermarket "PEEEEHHHHHH... PEEEEHHHHHHHHHH" is like mosquito lol.

Hey guys Just wana add in. I think my Battery on my SP going to flat anytime. Cause whenever i on my bike the netural gear light seems to be blinking mildly. And my LED meter light seems to be flickring when i switch on my headlight. SO i dunno whether my recharging thingy in my SP spoil or wat. or maybe Battery weak liao. So lets say if i happen to change the Battery, Which brand shall i buy? I want like can last long long. And how much will it cost me plus installation? thank you.
