Hi Riders,

Would like to check if anyone bump into similar problem, I'm riding a CB900F my bike having this aviation style fuel cap like any other bike on the road. Nowadays I having difficulties shutting the cap, I realise that the ring of the cap to be push back so to activate the lock. Whenever I try to close the cap and push it down, it wouldn't lock. I tried dipping some oil, but it don't seems to work.

Lastly, how you guys clean the chain I find it hard to remove grease over the chain. Regular washing liquid wouldn't help.

Thanks for reading! :cheeky:

Oem fuel cap.lab should have.

Use gt88 from bicycle shop.abt 10-12sgd.

Spary onto the chain (generous) and wait for 10mins.

Use unwanted tshirt to clean it.

Need to do a few times if too dirty.

Cleaned already, apply a thin layer on chain

the product description so similar to WD-40 sia. Tried motor shop yesterday but not selling haha.

Any thoughts of using WD-40 to remove tough grease on the chain and sprocket?

No... DO NOT use WD40 if you are using X ring or O ring chain.

Oh so like another member mentioned, its not rubber friendly? Actually I did damp a piece of cloth and wipe off the grease on the chain before wor. Hmmm... guess wrong move?

Anyone tried Lithium Soap on the chain? It seems good, no fling and its dry...

I have seen it in owner's manual, so I wonder does anyone use it rather than those spray type chain lube.
