eh guys.. i need some help here

 

im riding a spark. when i turned on my bike, there is no meter lights.

 

then after that i do a kick start the engine is able to start and the meter lights will also come on.

 

my horn also has no sound when i tried to press on it. there is a 'buzzing' sound when i press my horn.

 

there is a buzzing sound when my signal is turned on too

 

whats the problem here?

 

battery was changed not long ago.. like less than a year.

Hi bro, perhaps u wanna check on ur fuse...or either wiring prob like loose joint...

can be a number of reasons for this.

 

happen to me 3-5 times before. went to bike shop and they changed the fuse and problem solved. happened to my friend too but his was not as simple as mine. in the end he had to do major servicing to the coil and rectifier etc and spent $300.

wa 3-5 times? so many times? this is the first time i am already so irritated by it.

 

btw i a bit blur here.. u guys said fuse.. wheres the fuse at?

it is really irritating. and have to make a trip to the bike shop. but i heard from mechanics that fuse blows when there is a short circuit of wires in your bike. once i heard that i decided to take out my LED lights.

 

the fuse is located at your battery area. it acts like the "connector" to connect the current from the battery to all the wirings in your bike.

i got 7 LED strips on my bike :giddy:

 

ok i got it thanks.:angel: I will keep a look out at that area.

 

however if the fuse is blown, would my meter lights, brake lights, headlights all still work? cause they are still working.

Depends on which fuse..

 

There are few fuses in my bike, like 1 is for the engine, 1 is the lights horn blah blah.. Not sure about ur bike..

To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

 

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment,and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

 

Cultivate the confidence to face the different situations. Don't let yourself to be subdued by the environment :thumb:

Hi, new member here and also recently enrolled in 2b. Just finished RTL 1.02 and booked 2 Riding Theory Practice + 1 Riding Theory Evaluation. i was wondering if there is any way i can obtain free theory practice online?

 

i recall few months back my friend had free theory practice online or download(not so sure) for class 3 so i assume theres one for 2b.

 

Anyone can share any info?

 

somehow the search thread function is not working for me. sorry if it is already mentioned in the thread.

I saw people selling their bike parts by parts as they are scrapping their bike..

 

I intend to ride my bike till i scrap since the COE only left around 6mths.. It wouldn't fetch high price if i were to sell it anyway..

 

How should i strip the bike by the end of COE? bring it to a workshop?

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment,and adjust yourself to its rhythm.
