You turn too little, they will say you never check properly/enough on your blind spot and minus points.

You turn too many times, they will say you not confident enough in your blind spot checks and did extra checking so will minus points.

You turn your head too much angle...they will say you check wrong spot? I got scolded for turning too big angle to check blind spot when I was learning car...not sure on bike they will say or not.

Anyway, do all the necessary checking once and turn your head considerable amount. Can't really argue if they missed seeing you check and give you points for it. Sometimes depends on luck also...just do your best on other things and pray they don't anyhow give you blind spot points during TP. :o

You're not the only one. I went for many SP, RC and one RR before my TP. When i was riding CB125 in BBDC, i don't reply on the mirrors, so i turn my head to check the entire left/right side (which consists of blind spots too). Every practical i went, i did this, and i memorized every corner of the BBDC circuit test route. But during my TP, i still got points of failing to check blind spot. So in my opinion, it doesn't really matter how you check your blind spot, it's whether the tester did see you turn your head. My advice to you is not to change your method of blind spot checking last minute before TP, if not you'll be easily confused. My 2 cents

you must check your blind spot by turning your head to look over your shoulder. no need to turn too much and make sure when you turn your shoulder do not move.

Too late to reply to your "now"

I rarely post nowadays already...only stalk the forum some times. :o

Steps on getting a bike:

1. Get an experienced rider.

2. Pester him to help you find a good bike of your choice.

3. Pay him some kopi $$ after all the hard work.

P.S. No guarantee or warranty from experienced rider if your bike comes up with any problem the second you gain ownership of the bike! :p

Tips for getting a bike.

Basically...to purchase a used bike, get insurance, do ownership transfer and you're done. COE/Road tax renewal wise I not sure how already.

I didn't said anything about buying from private seller or shops.

I don't know how the process from shop works, but I personally bought from private seller and I don't think it's too much of a hassle. :)

The one and only important thing to note when buying bike is to get a good condition bike!

Getting from shop don't really mean the condition is tip top, getting from private doesn't mean it's sure to have problems, and vice versa.

If no experienced friend...I think getting from shop would be a slightly better choice. The shop will help you source insurance all those and maybe give you a few months warranty, but still there is no 100% confirm you will get good condition bike.

----------------

I went for 1 SP, 1 RC, and 1 RR the week before TP. IMHO, for the price of RC, I rather use the money to go for 2 more SP. I don't know about what other people said regarding RC, but I had a bad experience on it. Went RC once, instructor took us to each of the course and practice a few rounds, and at the end of the session the instructor only said one sentence to me: "your breaking, not so good leh.". Never even give tips on how to improve, and didn't even help me time my courses! I go RC like going for SP without the freedom of choice on courses I want to practice more. If I knew this was it, I would have took 3 SP and 2 RR, or 3 RR and 2 SP.

I went for 1 RC when i took 2B. instead of looking at us the instructor was talking and joking around with the other instructors in the circuit. after that went to the PC there and canceled the rest of my RC and booked SP instead. :sian:
