So when i'm confirmed getting a certain bike, den i go down to pay for my insurance and meet the seller at LTA and transfer..

 

then i can ride the bike already? :)

Buying insurance is like becoming a sub-rider first. You can ride the bike when you're a sub-rider.

Doing the transfer is to become the main owner of the bike.

You actually can ride the bike after you buy insurance...but it's not considered your bike yet la. :D

You actually can ride the bike after you buy insurance...but it's not considered your bike yet la. :D

 

Simply saying, in singapore, no insurance covered for vehicle = no riding/driving.

Class 3C (1st Attempt) - 14/5/10

Class 2B (1st Attempt) - 24/5/10

Class 2A (2nd Attempt) - 25/8/11

got any requirement onot?

To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

 

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment,and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

I need to visit Captain Planet soon...get my steering cone fixed and maybe change engine oil. :o

I see a group of riders riding around using white scooter once in BBDC..

 

I think that's defensive riding..

To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

 

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment,and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

that's not defensive riding. defensive riding they use the old CG125. the dark blue bike. but i heard if you go SAF need defensive riding cert in order to ride into camp and that they would pay for you if you take during your NS. police and SCDF no need defensive riding to ride into camp.

well u are correct tat they use the cg125 for defensive.according to my camp clerk,heard is have to go ssdc for defensive liao.u can go before u enlist then when u post to unit u jus show the cert and receipt to claim back.anyway if u go during ur ns u have to take ur own off,pay first before they transfer the money also mah.beside the basic defensive theres advance de,i have read thru the army forum saying tat they use the big bikes which i forgt is 2a one or 2 de.anyway certain camps sometimes have refresher defensive course which means the ssdc instructor will come to the camp and u will ride ur own bike for the defensive to refresh urself again

he say you joined SBF so long and so many postcount, sure onot?
