The mirrors on my bike seems useless.. :(

My bike mirror is my life!

High speed I check blindspot will die...the wind will make me cannot turn head back.

My stock mirror damn big.

just now on my way back, i only used up to 3rd gear..

 

is it because i drag the gear that's why the bike vibrate?

 

i go like 60-70km/h

3rd gear go till 60km/h?

How many gears do you have? Should be the reason for the vibration...maybe loud engine noise also?

I ride 60km/h I'm on 6th gear already. every +10km = up one gear for me.

Maybe that's the main reason..

 

because when the seller pillon me to the bike shop, didn't really vibrate..

 

So it's ok to engage higher gears if the speed is not v fast.

To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

 

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment,and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

jus graduate then everything return to bbdc liao? low speed + high gear = engine will rattle. ride a few more days, u will find a sweet spot of rpm to change gear liao.

No it's not okay...:eek:

Change gears according to the speed you are in. You have the tachometer to see your RPM, change accordingly. My phantom no have that meter only can rely on hearing and speedometer.

 

When in jam...I like going at 40km/h, I will be on 4th gear...If the vehicle in front of me slows down and my speed drop below 40km/h, I will change to 3rd gear...speed up over 40km/h will change to 4th gear...like that keep up down up down according to speed.

 

Not sure is it the right way...but I don't like the loud engine sound when on high speed with low gear and the engine knocking sound(Sounds like the piston working extra hard...should be. :o) when low speed with high gear. Makes the bike unstable for my liking.

Same situation, mirror small like hell, rendering useless. Therefore, i bought a 2nd hand stock kr mirror from kr thread ppl, and changed my mirror. Now better already, but my KR looks more like mickey mouse with those big ugly mirrors. :D

this is a good budget 2T. I am currently using it. 1 full bottle last me for about 6 weeks. i have used about 3 bottles so far of this 2T. but it is best to use either semi or fully synthetic. after this i gonna try the castrol fully synthetic 2T that my friend recommend.

the mickey mouse stock KR mirror is good. really gives you the wider angle. i changed to the small "racer" mirror. no matter how i adjust the mirror, i end up seeing my shoulders instead of the traffic behind.

ok lah tis one.u can try penzoil which only can be bought in malaysia,castrol power one racing which i use last time when i ride sp.cheap and gd enuff.no need to go till motul or watever high cost one

 

2T don't have those numbers like 10W50 all those?

 

bro i think u misunderstand the 2t and 4t.2t is a lubricant for the piston in 2 stroke while 4t is the engine oil where the gears are.for 4 stroker u can put abit of 2t in ur tank to burn and lubricate ur piston,tats wat i heard last time.but im nt really advising to it.2t usage is lubricate the piston and blk and burn at the same time.

those so call racing or arrow mirror can see ur side de,i use to have tat kind of mirror on my sp.jus do some adjusting and u can see clearly le.if u lazy to check blindspot,get a blindspot mirror to fix on ur bike jus like those on cars

as for sky99,i think u really need to start learning fast abt sp more.since u having one without a 2t tank,i think mayb the previous owner has mod the bike before so therefore u might nt be use to it and face quite a prob.everytime before u start bike u need to shake ur bike so as to mix ur 2t and petrol in ur tank properly.if nt ur bike will be diff to start and cause ur spark plug getting wet.2nd point is tat take note of how much 2t u pour,regardless of wat brand of petrol,2t or grade of petrol.ur exhaust smoke and those black unburnt 2t coming out frm ur exhaust will varies according to the amount of ratio u pour in.i believe there are still some ppl here or in sp thread willing to help or guide u along the way bah

That's the reason why i changed to stock mirrors. Before I changed to stock mirror, when traveling on expressway, the wind against me will cause the mirrors to bend in, therefore I have no vision on the road, and I will have to constantly adjust the mirrors to a position where i can see, and within a minute, the mirror will bend in again. Therefore, I had no choice but to change mirror, so I thought why not stock, since stock larger and has clearer view. And now, the small "racer" mirror is being left neglected in a plastic bag at home. :lol:

i not really sure, but i wash bike i just pour water all over it, and then just wash it with soap with a cloth. Then pour water all over again, and let it dry, and wax fairing. My friends do it, I just follow, lol. One of my friends even told me, if your bike scared of water, when rain, your bike carb alr tio water le.
