cigars can last very very long even tens of years...

the older, the stronger and the deeper the aroma.

but only if stored in the right conditions in a humidor.

Wow. Like tat, your expenses in stocking up your cigars must be very high. So how many you puff per week?

yes stocking up is expensive, certainly into the thosands of dollars . also not to mention the humidors , lighter, cutter, cigar soft case etc.....

i do about 5 a week. mostly big ring gauge cigars like robustos, double coronas, corona gordas, robusto extras, churchills, tainos etc..

i dont like small ring gauge cigars so the smallest i will smoke is a petite corona....

what i heard is that the "feeling" when you smoke it would not be as smooth as when it is cut.. maybe throttle could clarify this......

you try cutting with scissors and you will find out, hahaha

that is , if you are sucessful....

put it this way, you dont use a toothpick to eat noodles, right?

cigar cutters ensure that the cap is cut clean, giving a good draw to the cigar

also it prevents the wrapper leave of the cigar from unravelling or being ripped by a pair of scissors.

of course if you have steady hands you can use a very sharp penknife. but you have to do it carefully.....where got time? so just buy a cigar cutter and use it...

some people bite it off but only in the movies or if you are an old man in Cuba who simply cannot afford a cutter.

depends, good ones about $60 - 80

average ones $40 - $50

branded ones $200 - $500

average ones work ok , bro.

also there are many types:-

single guillotine

twin blade guillotine

punch/bullet

cigar scissor

V-cut

I still prefer the twin blade.

I have 3 cutters - 2 twin blade and 1 single blade.

hoping to receive a dunhill cutter ($300) for my birthday, heh heh heh heh

yeah , go to any good cigar shop.

they should have a range....

as long as the blade and the construction is good....

i recommend twin blade

around $30+++ good enuff
