yes that was me. :)

there was a 1098s, bmw hp2 & a MV 312RR there also, oh so beautiful.

Most people go through life following the crowd.

Others think for themselves.

They go their own way.

Summary :

The trip was an eye opening experience for the both of us. It was my 3rd trip out of sg using a bike. For her its the first. So she seemed to be more excited than me :cheeky:

As riders, it tested our will power to ride. Its not easy to ride long distance using a small bike. Yeah, anyone can twist the trottle, but it takes more than that. Especially when the weather is not in favour or when you took the wrong route, u need lots of patience to go on. It also tests our strength as a couple to cooperate with each other and be patient and understanding towards each other. When one is blur, the other one must help and so on. When one makes mistake, the other must forgive & give in. Just like how riders help each other on the road & be accomodating towards each other.

When we first got caught in the heavy rain and started to shiver, we even tot of going back. That was within out first two hours of the journey. But we told ourselves not to give up and give it a try. Not everyday is a rainy day.. :p

We were further motivated when we saw so many riders(esp sg riders) making their way up north.

Just remember to pay attention on the road when u r riding in a foreign country, esp the signboards. Always look out for other vehicles becoz there r all kinda drivers out there. Pay attention to ur petrol quantity as well becoz for small bikes, it tend to finish faster. I used to get 200+km for one full tank. But for this trip i only got around 180km or so. Factors like windy weather, pillion & all comes into picture.

Be equipped with raincoat at all times. Weather is very unpredictable. Make sure the bike is prepared for long distance as well. Always be prepared to travel extra, in case u took the wrong route like us.

Other than that, ride for passion and ride safely... Big or small, any bike can go the extra mile if u want it to happen. Live to ride.

We are already planning for our next trip very soon.

One thing for sure, once u start going for such trips, u will surely wanna go again and again and again... :):thumb:

Hey Hairi, i like your first paragraph...i copy into my blog okay?
