try exiting PIE jalan bahar, all the way down lim chu kang road (the infamous 40 tiang runway), turn at neo tiew estate all the way to kranji dam.

if u've never travelled that route before, u'd be very surprised how 'countryside' that route is. be forewarned: narrow and slightly bumpy, some blind corners and watch out for the occasional crossing monitor lizard.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

i wouldn know wat its like during nite time. i dont go 40 tiang at nite for drag racing. i travel the route i mentioned on a weekend late afternoon to enjoy the ride and scenery. 40 tiang is only a small portion of the route i suggested.

you might have been mistaken if u think i was suggesting go 40 tiang and drag race.

Most fun way to get from Woodlands -> Jurong West in 20 mins :3

Road condition is more than adequate, just that some corners seem to be designed in a different era of road engineering. They're not setup for safe high speed cornering, so get creative with the riding/driving lines :3

Take heed of the road markings - just like UK's B-roads, well positioned signs and markings save lives. They've recently added super-bumpy white strips around the tighter switchbacks so take it slow and learn the course gradually.

Video reply to TS:

Yes, there are many nice roads in SG

i of cos agree with kalyan on the issue.

heck wats an adventure if you just want PIE-smooth tarmac?

but it needs at least a slow first ride to get used to if all u've been riding on are hdb estate - expressway - hdb estate. a li'l bumpy and a li'l narrow like i said. of coz m'sia road veterans wouldn think anything of the conditions.

bottomline: its one of the few route left that truly makes you feel like ur riding countryside.
