It's gonna be a hard trip I guarantee you. I just completed one on 14th to 16th this month. 1st day to Cameron, 2nd day Gua Musang, Gerik, back to Cameron, 3rd day home.

 

Unfortunately ran into problems on Gerik highway that forced my group to be delayed and spend 2nd nite and Gerik. 3rd day chiong all the way to SG. Tiring.

 

3 bikes a bit unsafe. If got breakdown, will need more bikes to backup. Travel in at least group of 4 bikes. So if anything, can split up in pairs. Safer.

Heh. Aiya. I never really showed that much interest. I was asking on behalf of someone.

Now is really rainy season. Can tell you, riding in rain.... especially M'sia super heavy rain... really sux big time. Halfway down Cameron on last day, it started to rain on me... and it rained all the way to Seremban. Really miserable.

 

Bring raincoat. I forgot mine. Touring gear is waterproof up to certain extent only. That kinda rain will penetrate even "water-resistant" jacket in just a matter of minutes....

My bike is totally not for the costal road back. I've done 500km of Costal roads in one evening on my Monster before, and thats pure torture.... Trust me.

Hahah. You dont know we are the super hardcore riders bo liao 3 person muskerteers. Raining heavily we also travel 150-160km/hr

I have a newer wan wat.. 7.5k Cash Neg FY plate Hornet250 blue color. Condition very good. Mileage low 17500km. Got better ones you guys dont want, go bike shop see those old want. Those miss this chance for this bike, is a waste.

Can i suggest that the last day or the 4th day we keep as reserve... like when we still have enough money and energy then we go for one more day.

I'm not very enthusiastic about riding trunk roads on my bike, or riding in the rain though.

 

Highways erm, i'm slowed down by my fuel range.

As mentioned, I just completed a 2000 km trip. It's possible for a sportbike to do the long haul. I was on my R1, and my friend on his 999. Another was on a FJR13, so he was probably the most comfortable one.

 

Duc 999 can make it through. Only thing was that the tacho and display went out on the 2nd day, but traced it to a batt or connection problem. Has been fixed at no cost.

 

Oh yeah... definitely get your bike washed at Perling b4 you head home. After a long trip like that, the last thing I wanna do is to manually wash my bike the next day.

Nice to have, but can do without. Got 2 factors. The H6's price, and the trade in value of the S4. So I guess gotta remain steady and haggle like hell.

If you also want the mask and the snorkel in case of really really heavy rain, I can provide also, but i think the fins don't need lah, if it gets that bad we might as well wait till the rain stops.

Saw a blue hornet250 at wing fuat 2 mths back.. maybe belong to bbdc coz saw the tag number on the tank... quoted FT for $4.8k

yeah i put it on sale about 2 months ago. back then i didn wanna sell to bike shop.

 

now no choice already... definitely selling. saying goodbye to Hornet riding (for a while... i got a feeling i'll be back!)

 

 

honestly is $3.9k expensive?? bike shop will probably sell for $5k leh...
