wow :cheeky:

What's your travelling speed?

60-70 on normal road.

80-90 on highway.

normally change gears at about 4k rpm.

if i not wrong, earlier in this thread, some other

two-fiftys are getting around the same mileage, if not better! :thumb:

was topping up at 2nd link last Saturday,

there was a mini-jam at 1am!

i thot what was going on???

only realized later when i passing over the Gelang Patah

flyover, the Singapore bikes n cars were gathered there.

probably checking out some illegal racing by our counterparts. :cheeky:

after exiting from Perling, was side by side with a CB4Vtec1 at the traffic.

He sped off when the lights turn green, can see it goes like rocket!!

Probably the Vtec has kicked in. Was able to chase him though n overtake!

(with 2 side panniers included)

Not bad for a two-fifty!:thumb:

A blessed buy. :-)

cheers!

Hi spec: would lik to know how many teeth for the front n rear sprocket

for our hornet? isit 16/40?

Ravon,

Standard gear ratio is about 4:1. If I'm not wrong mine is 45:14 (Rear/Front). You can modify the rear to a lesser teeth to increase the high-end but the life span of the sprocket will be faster. Leave the front - Standard. Please refer the Sprocket Ratio Chart for your reference. Juz in case if you need it.

well, i havent changed mine yet. (yup, believe me)

still functional.. (maybe its cos i'm using Scottoiler, only pulled my chain once)

will consider changing them when i hit 50,000km.

(along with my stock set of rubbers - not changed them yet too..

still using BT050 cos the threads' still there)

i'm a believer in Engine-Braking.. (with brakes, of course, but juz minimal emphasis)

(off topic: i'm still considering looking for a bellypan for my Hornet)

dunno whether a super four's bellypan would do the trick..with mods.
