Meet 8.30pm at Esso 2nd Link

Be at Spore Imm by 8pm (usual 20min queue)

U need a cash card (.50cents)

 

Fill in White Card for Malaysia Imm.

And $1ringgit toll after Imm

(same amount on the way out of Johore.)

Just a few Guide Notes for a safe & Enjoyable Ride:

 

1. Always ride in staggered formation on the straight

& single file in narrow curve roads.

2. Leave room for bikes to move freely but not cars to

come between.

3. When passing 2 lane road, don't pass & then slow down.

Make sure there's enough room for other bikes to fall in

Behind U.

4. Be patient.

5. Try to wear a full face helmet (chin gets the highest % hit),

Wear a Jacket(with armour if possible), jeans with shoes.

6. Lead Bike Will do about 130kmh. (Motrax)

7. Ride to your comfortable speed. I will be the sweeper(last bike)

Will stay with bikes that can't stay with main team.

(Try to keep minimum 110kmh.)

8. All Will gather again after 2nd Kulai Exit Toll.

(if u wanna spd up, go ahead - catch u there)

9. Markers will be at 1st Kulai & N/S Highway Exit(volunteers req)

10. Dinner will be at Yew Ming Restaurant

(there are some malay food around there)

11. Call or msg me If u have a problem. (with bike)

 

Feel free to bring your riding buddies along.

i have been tasked to invite our fellow birds for the first bird outing to malacca

 

for those who have not been there, this will be a relaxed trip to get away from the busy and hectic life away from singapore

 

details as follows...

 

 

 

Day1

 

will be meeting at Gelang Esso at 0730hrs. stopping at Pagoh which is around 152km away based on road mileage. not eating there.

 

the reason why we are meeting so early is because we hope to reach malacca to avoid the afternoon sun

 

expected to reach malacca by 11am. and settle down at the famous Afomasa Chicken Rice Restaurant by 1130 hrs. here, u guys can try out the famous malacca chicken rice balls. wanna know more ? come for the trip lor

 

will reach at the apartment and check in at 2pm.

we plan to stay at Century Mahkota Hotel.

will be staying apartment style where there will be 2 rooms with a hall. we will pack as much ppl as possible confortably into the apartment

 

After that, we shall ride up to Malacca WaterWorld which is abt 30 mins ride away(estimated)

the rides there are apart from the ordinary and the place is HUGE.

 

more fun than jurong swimming complex and wild wild wet combined. guaranteed an afternoon of pure fun water activities too.( in my opinion lah)

 

should be back at the hotel by 7pm where we will rest a while and prepare for a delicious meal of satay celup.

 

what is that?

 

in the middle of the round table is a pot of satay sauce. food comes in satay sticks. this includes meat balls, wonton, crab meat( those red and white type), sotong, some seafood, quails eggs and much more. confirm full and delicious at an affordable price. cannot be found in singapore.

 

expect to finish by 11pm where we will rest for the day. at night someone might wanna bring cards and do the usual lah...

 

 

Day2

 

morning breakfast provided on a first come first served basis (because we packing ppl into the room so some will not be entitled). or can go try the local food for breakfast. good stuffs include Original Nasi Lemak. this is only RM1.00 the nasi lemak comes wrapped in pandan leaves and consists of only Nasi and Ikan Billis and chilli. thats why its original. only SG ppl put chicken wings.

 

followed by shopping at century mahtoka parade shopping centre for shopping. *of course lah*

 

optional lunch at the Portugese settlement where fellow bird eien will guide us there.

 

on the way back was thinking of dropping by kulai for dinner before coming back to sg. but all these can be planned on an ad-hoc basis lah.

 

home sweet home

 

 

this total distance expected to cover is around 500km.

SGD200 should be more than sufficient for lodging, petrol, shopping and meals. if u guys wanna buy diamond ring then better bring more dough.

 

as for the rooms, i dunno how much as i dunno how many ppl going. but the rates can be seen on the webbie above. can only decide after i see how many ppl.

the cost of the room will be shared by all regardless of whether u are slping in the hall or in the room. if u have any ways of making this more fair to all, pls contribute.

 

 

Lodging: $50

Food: $50

WWorld: $10

Cab(s): $15

 

amounts of petrol and shopping not included. these depens on individual spending pattern

 

Lodging

lodging is set as $50 first based on online quotes on one of the webbies. any balance (which we will most prolly have) will be returned to each. OR use it to spend on the kulai makan at the end of the trip. depends on the majority of the ppl in the group

 

Food

 

the amount is an estimate. will be eating chicken rice balls in the afternoon and satay celup at night.

next day breakfast included and one lunch outside, along with a dinner at kulai.

 

estimated RM20 for each meal (excluding breakfast)

 

 

Taxi

One trip up to waterworld is RM50. a to and fro would cost RM100 for 4 ppl. that is IF we choose to take a cab instead of riding up.

 

else dinner time to satay celup most prolly will be taking cab there liao as parking is a real problem.

 

 

Waterworld Admission Ticket

From the webbie, admission is RM18 bucks. this does not include lockers and rental of the stupid float and mineral water in case u get thirsty or a bar or chocolate at the minimart. Sing 10-12 should be sufficient

 

 

Hotel quotes are transparent as all can see from the webbie i provided

hmm... i agree hornet is nice.. esp the new 600 one.. super attractive.. hehe... a bike to ride.. if someone wanna style... uniquenes... spd... handlin... n watsoever... hhe...

y not try to expand the hornets ASAP.... den can c one formin out lioaz.. hehe.....

alot ppl when buyin honda st bike.. wil tend to compare wif super 4 n hornet...

but in fact.. alot din noe wat is the actual main diff btween 2 bikes...

if the guys n gers... really try to find out abt both bike... hehe.. mayb there wil b more hornet riders liaoz... i am not sayin super 4 no gd... cos super 4 wif vtec got its own gd pts too... but hornet... in actuall fact.. is a racin bike wor.. haha..n the mono shock makes it luk nice too....

not sure y honda nvr revamp the 900 one... maybe they still feel dat it wil still sell like it used to b? or they r waitin for the under seat exhaust ver... 1000 cc hornet... wow... dat hurts...keke...
