wave disc there is galfer and braking.. galfer can find at motoworld, braking can find at motovation accessories... costin ~$1k++ for front n rear...

wah so expensive just for the brake disc? How ya feel about the braking effect?

What I like about it was the better heat dissipation properties due to its design.

Yes, the pillion pegs.

In the mass ordering thread but the thread is gone

Hmmm the entire peg or the rubber as they sold separately, this sat I went to FJT saw this uncle bought the rear pegs... but without the rubber.

superb braking.. cuz oso using brembo 19x20.. dunno if the rcs got any diff.. but brake pads was recommended to use sintered.. but normal braking or ebc oso can but it is still damm expensive.. im juz using sbs pads, cheaper and almost same quality.. nt sintered though..

for the foot pegs, i think u can find sportsbike pegs which can fit... maybe wan to try the cbr foot pegs?? maybe those can fit.. or ah boy foot pegs?? those anodised colour... but i believe honda footpegs mounting is standard for all honda bike.. correct me if im wrong... if it can fit, maybe u find scrap honda sportsbike at scrapyard to get footpegs  its way cheaper !!

hmmm mind ask u change the brake disc due to wear or damages?

how ya differentiate splintered brake pad?

Where's bike scrap yard? I'll take note of 919 measurement and see if there's any closes to it.

Can the rider foot pegs use on pillion foot pegs?

Anybody try this b4

lol remind me of FZ6 pillion foot pegs, quite similar to rider's foot peg. But not sure if it can "close" up the peg, cos the 919 rubber step are rather protruding.

furthermore my bike is having a huge problem. it keep dying off when i start the bike. i have to play with the throttle to warm up the bike. i went to 2 shops, and both shops keep complaining abt servicing my bike and asking me to scrap my bike. so i do need a "third" opinions from a shop that do service hornet.

welcome aboard...

Hmmm there's a ryder mention he did all the servicing at Bike Werks (kaki bukit, Shun Li industrial), so do I but my previous owner did his servicing at Unique Motorsports.

is the idling too low? I saw my neighbor CB400 SF facing similar problem like urs but its solved... not sure what went wrong. Weak battery? Faulty starter?

Hmmm I'm curious on their reason on proposing overhaul the engine on ur 250. Actually what's in the over haul package (*heard its expensive to do so)? What will be changed? Could there be a possibility of poor wiring, spark plug couldn't ignite, no compression etc?

Valve? OR they suspect that the valve didn't seal the cylinder faithfully?

If possible try ask around and collect more information? (its pretty hard n tiring)

Cos main concern is what if the money spend still can't get the problem solve...

What's u guys review on having bagster tank protector on the bike? I worry about promoting corrosion over long period. My current measure of protecting the tank paintwork from peddles and stones.

u have to remove the tank bra frequently to clean. One of my friends, due to very long time never remove n clean and when one day, he wanted to remove it. Some part of the paint work is removed together wif the tank bra. So be careful

I think I'm too lazy for this.

i did...when the bike first came out of the shop, they actually put the idling knot at rpm 6 during neutral...wah, that was super crazy...could see smoke coming out from my pipe and also my engine when stopped at traffic light...very jia lat...had to go back shop and readjust the idling back....now the idling is ard 1 to 2...abit better...

oh yeah, i going around asking shops what could be the problems...no choice hor, just have to ask around...mayb i will prompt them rgds the valve not covering the cylinder...thanx man...

actually i wan to use the tank cover as a form of protection to shield off pebbles and stones on the road. I can see dents and chipped paint work, but I'm concern of the moist trap between the cover and tank. Which ya mention would cause damage if not taken care of.

OMG, 6k rpm setting... very high and it gonna affect ur fuel consumption.

Actually ya nid not have to prompt them, perhaps ya can listen to what's comes to their mind first... no rush making decision :)

I checked that Rizoma having universal type of foot peg with separate adapter perhaps can try it out. From the picture it looks like stainless steel construction. :cheeky:

Rather quiet in the nest...

I found that CB400SF Hyper Vtec rear foot peg were full stainless steel construction just wonder if it could be swap over to 919?

Nice Vid on H250

Yup, would like to have such a color theme on my 919 too... with a little twist. SP Tadao, street legal pipe? Nice to see a twin muffler on H250 too.

Hey fellows, I'm putting up my hornet 250 for sale. Actually is just take over from me. Still under hire purchase. Balance of about 5k. Interested party can pm me.

The Hornet tribe is getting smaller... H250 should be able to attract much attention... powerful engine, nice styling, good power to weight ratio, side cowl exhaust...

rizoma foot peg is interchangeable btw rider n pillion..

abt the brake disc, previous owner changed it to galfer wave disc... i guess its due to wear n tear.. brake pads wise, i was adviced to change to a good ceramic pads as sintered is abit too expensive and the life span is about the same or juz abit longer.. so i find using ceramic pads is much more worth while.. my brake settings is brembo 19x20 master pump, goodrigde brake hose, galfer disc and sbs ceramic pads.. damm i like my brakin effect.. it "eats" when i wan it to.. yup

about tankbra, as long as ur paintwork is the original paintwork, the paint wun stick to the tankbra and peel it off if u dun open it often.. i have lots of frens using tankbra and they only open it ard once a mth when they wash their bike... yeah tankbra is a good efficient way to protect the tank from gravels.. or maybe u can try AR performance on the raceshield.. tat protects the tank too...

yo mild_slevin, maybe u wan to meet up sometime?? we can take alook at each other's 919.. pm me bro..
