By the way are there wet cells battery for bikes?

Bikes with alarm system, does it battery wear out easily than those without alarm?

yeah, my shinko batt lasted 1 year only and i hardly ride my H9.

i think there are wet cells. its those batt when u buy gotta instal the batt water. and alarm system will definitely drain the batt faster.

yup wet cells are those u have to put in battery water when 1st use but its maintainence free..

I pay "peanuts", so I get "peanuts" battery lol. Its OK that you use Shinko since ya hardly ride, that's what my fren did...

Hmmm I will ask the shop if they have one for CB900F, I wonder should I hook up the alarm since previous owner install it.

Hmmm wonder if the size would be a problem...

Sadly I'm a noob when comes to shock/suspension, what kind of experience we get for a good suspension?

Anyone knows the otr price for a new hornet cb600fa?

I did ask Looi's before, it can cost up to 19K+ so far no revision done on the bike as yet. But I find it very cool...

Yesterday saw a grey CB250 Hornet at Looi's motor wonder if its one of you guys?

Hey guys just got a 1999 hornet 250. Anywhere to get cheap hornet spare parts? My starter switch one of the screw holes cracked, only one screw holding it on, can I buy a new starter switch casing or need to buy the whole switch? Shop quoted me $100+.

am afraid you might need to purchase a new switch assembly with casing, ever try using some glue and fix it with new screw?

Spare parts you can try ebay or local authorize honda parts dealer ex. Ever bright, Ever fit, FJT, Chong Aik...:thumb:

servicing shouldn't be a problem, since its a CBR600RR base engine... parts wise shouldn't be a problem getting it. Honda dealer still support my old and trusty CB900F, just that some items need to place order.

hey there fixed mine with a super 4 one, did it at bikeworkz, they had to do wire splicing though , cos s4's hazard light has different wiring vs ours. but they did it ok, not cheap, a new console i think 120? cant remember

Oh how how they charge you for such service? My horn push button at times can trigger the horn at times don't, guess the electrical contact might be corroded. Yours a grey hornet?

did you choose that specifically or do they not make hornet ones anymore?

No problem, you can check out with BikeWerk @ shun-li industrial park... I find their price good, before you visit them just ask around get an idea of the price... recently just replace engine oil (maxima) and oil filter, very smooth feeling and my bike just feel "young" again. :cheeky:

I believe they use CB400SF switch assembly cause its similar to CB250 Hornet... and easily available, beside its Honda so shouldn't have a very big problem installing it onto CB250. I have seen CBR1100XX handle bar switches very very similar to mine, I believe there wouldn't be a problem using theirs on my bike.
