If I'm not wrong Hornet first start off in Europe, for CB900F there's JDM model as well, out look is the same except that its color theme & speedo maximum speed at 180km/hr.

the very 1st hornet was the 250.. started in japan.. then came the 600 n lastly the 900

oh so its still the jap that came out with Hornet, I realise VTR250 rear swing arm resemble Hornet 250... abit disappointing in the design.

CB600F seems more rare... hardly seen one on the sales thread, I check that the later version of this CB600F comes with USD fork and side cover on the headlamp before they revamp the bike.

About the coolant hose, you can try checking out with Unique Motorsports, they carry samco sports silicone hose, you can check the advertiser thread for more details.

Found one FT plate CB600F at Looi Motor but the condition quite beat up as it is kept outdoor under rain and shine. The forks and the engine bolts are all rusted, the exhaust shield is badly scratch and paint faded. I checked with the uncle and he said the bike engine is still good but the COE ending Jan 2011, hence its going to be exported. The uncle quoted 6K with new COE and as it condition, and $4.5K w/o COE and as it condition.

Feel its overprice to pay for such a beat up bike, I walked away disappointed. Probably will drop by to Mah motors to see if there is any Hornet 600 around.

Yea its the back one park outside the building you have lobang to get cheaper from Looi Motor??

I might consider if they sell at $3K at its is condition, the bike needs new paint, fresh tires, full servicing and all wear and tear parts replace.

I think the old CB600F Hornet (1998-2004) still cost much cheaper than the Superfour, weighs the same but twice the Horsepower (92HP), and look better with the high mount exhaust.

Con: Not common and very rare, spare maybe more expensive.

sad to say no wor... actually I thought its a bike for servicing not for sale, seems like you have confirmed it :) last time round when I went there for a CB400SF, I saw lots of Hornet at the used bike garage. Yes, the bike need a fresh coat of paint and lots of replacement... agreed that used CB600F goes somewhere near CB400SF definitely value for money....

*strangely I check MCN report they didn't mention about 2005 CB600F tailboard replacement, but it looks neat on CB600F too but last model still carb operated.

Wah... actually expected... 250 n 900 are hard to find too... guess when CB600F first launch it face the same problem as the current model bah, pricing which drive many away... OR current owners just wanna keep the baby :) CBF600 are not common as well... any second choice?

I called Loois Motor yesterday, wanted to get the Hornet600 to restore on my own slowly since I couldn't find it elsewhere, but was told no longer there. Probably sold off after I posted here.

I can only wait to see if anyone selling meanwhile I will settle for CB400 Spec2 (2/3 years COE).

Huh so fast? If you can get the model 2003 or later would be better... CB600F can generate 96PS (03 model) which is quite good. Dry weight

Surprise that there's actually a later version of H900 around... guess that's one of the final piece remain. Price wise still OK.
