Haha actually I did wonder if other make exhaust can my hornet as well.

A few problem to be address :

1) How to connect the can to header? (difference in pipe diameter, how the pipe channel to header etc)

2) Does the pipe able to optimise along with a different engine?

Can try seng kwang at autopoint.. (NOT Autobay ah!!) with money, every pipe has a solution XD

Would like to try it out, in summary Metzeler M5 "In every weather, on every road, this is perfect all-round supersport tyre"

your Hornet looks blink blink.

Recently, undergoing some add-ons :cheeky:

Just change Samco hose and added HnB crash bar, but developed new problem. Engine sounds/behaves different after 2500 rpm and above. Been to M-tech to re-fix the crash bar, still no use. Will try to remove them and see if the problem is caused by Samco hose.

Anyone have the same encounter before

Haha true, but I don't like the idea just popping it in not knowing the probable consequences... (*might sacrifice ur low to mid end power?)

Same I pop some add on as well... with AR2 race shield on the critical areas of the bike.

Engine sound different? Crash bar shouldn't hinder engine performance, its just mount onto the chassis right? Did you monitor your temperature gauge after having the new hose on? How much you spend on the hose?

Ya, I can feel the engine difference before 2500rpm and after 2500rpm. As for the temperature, I can't feel any diff. Now a bit regret changing the hose, for $400++. :sian:

Hmmm so what's the diagnostic given by your mechanic? Able to pinpoint any fault? The engine feel lack of performance?

Wah the hose so expensive???

i just did some "proper" grounding work on my bike.. can feel the overall performance better.. lol.. amazing..

Hmmm grounding, from battery to chassis? The shop did a similar work on my ride too...

Hey guys, what would be the selling price for a 2003 CB900F? Registered in 2004...

M-Tech asked me to ride for a longer period and observe. As he had already changed the mounting screws on both sides, but no improvement. I would describe engine running smoothly at beginning, as u throttle more, it becomes rougher. :(

Hose package has 7 pieces for hornet 900 model and take a flight here, maybe that's y so ex. IMO I feel no need to change unless your hose cracks or leaks. Last resort, then u change.

hmmm have u tried removing them and check if the problem persist?

Did you check the price of OEM hose? Seen some review, some user don't actually "witness" the improvement. Does ur engine run better with them? :thumb:

By the way what's the option you prefer when purchasing tires? Grip/Wet grip/Mileage?

bro, why don't u try looking up dual compound tyres. Good grip, good wet grip and good mileage. BUT, it's good, not best. Just take note of that.

And different tyres are constructed differently, so it may differ for various riders. just my opinion.

Dual compound, if I'm not wrong you're referring to michelin pilot road 2? I'm just looking for one which suit urban riding!

a few choices, Metzeler Road Tec, Laser Tec, Sport Tec... my fren review on Pilot Road 2 are good... or I should stick to the current Diablo Corsa Rosso?

Rosso good on dry condition, but if it rain kind of "shiver"... had some bad encounter with it (*probably tire worn too)

Really spoil with so many choices... gotta narrow down my need.
