roof deflector - cost more then side deflector.

 

had it installed today. bike seems more straight when travelling. and the coverage against rain shld be better, especially for shoulders.

Was quoted SGD10.5k OTR w/o insurance a year ago for AD200. Not sure how much it cost now.

AD 3 is not in production yet. It is still a concept model like Peogeut HYmotion 3.

hi guys,

 

over the weekend, my auto clutch spoiled. symptoms would be very noisy when u r trying to move from stationery, as the clutch continously slips. but if u managed to move off, then it rides as per normal. also, difficult to mover off from stationery on a slope.

 

solution, the auto clutch assembly would have to be replaced. looking at the size of this component, i presume its expensive.

 

what i also discovered while troubleshooting this problem in a JB workshop was, it shares the same clutch as GTS 200(VTS in JB), same part no as well. so, i think the price could be cheaper getting it from SYM rather than Adiva.

Just Googled and found that the 1st AD3 had been rolled out from factory. Planning to market from Spring 2013. Confirmed using Kymco 300 engine. Don't know when will land in Singapore.

Heard it is targeting to market at Euro$ 7000 in Europe. Therefore, when landed in Singapore, I believed it will be at least 15k.

Firstly the LTA has to review and approve if is suitable on SG roads but they did not give approval to the previous model which is the 3 wheeler similar to the MP3.

Secondly market in SG has restricted by 2A and 2B ruling. Ma earlier brought in some Italian made AD250 with piagglo engine but demand was slow in view of driving license restriction 2B and pricing.

Ma later brought in the Taiwan assembled with SYM engine AD200 which is lower in pricing and driving license for 2A.

Hope there be demand for the new AD300....
