Engine Oil

Til the end, its still the user's preference.

 

However, there is no harm trying both Fully Synthetic and Semi Synthetic.

 

Afterall, which you prefer, you can use it permanently.

 

Fully Synthetic

-Engine Oil are mostly 15W50 / 10W40 / 5W50 / 0W50.

-They are much thinner and smoother for the ride.

-Easier to Start in Cold mornings.

-Much of a expensive EO but lasts abt 4000km - 5000km.

 

Semi Synthetic

-Engine Oil are mostly 20W50.(Not firmilar with Semi, but Silkolene Semi is GD)

-They are much thicker and not as smooth as compared to Fully Synthetic 1s

-Harder to Start in cold mornings

-Much of a cheaper EO and lasts for abt 2500km to 3500km

 

So til the end, its still up to user's own preference as people has each and

every own's unique preferences.

your engine oil casing states 800ml...

now using thailand yahama 800ml 4T 20w-50 minerial oil for $3 per bottle.

no problem as i using semi- syn total last time.feel no difference.

i changed engine oil every mth. less than 1000 km.

for me i usually use fuch silkolene semi syn 15w50... quite good..

im using silkolene semi syn too..kinda heavy..i used castrol fully syn 10W b4 and my bike feel lighter than when using silkolene

Castrol full syn? U mean Castrol Pwoer1 Racing? Yah.. i used this too ( eventhough i onli ride wave lolx ). Feel so syiok when u rev the engine mah. WHt even suprise me the most is my wave engine Oil capasity is about 700ml. But i put the whoule bottle inside.. but dint feel tht my bike become "heavy" to rev ( usually if u put too much EO in da engine, the engine will become bit lazy ahaks ). I've used Mobil FUll syn be4 too. But truely, castrol is better

im using castrol R4 superbike engine oil..the bottle is green in color..i think its not advisable to put too much engine oil..

its not too bad to put in a lil more engine oil. after all 4 stroke, the eo will decrease in volume overtime unlike a 2stroker.
