Very hot day to Melaka but lucky we encountered very heavy rain just after Machap and before Bukit Indah way back to Tuas.

 

The chendol was nice and the chicken rice balls.

Experienced melaka, plse be fully prepare for all weather. While on the way bk, Damm heavy rain for less then 5mins riding,not so bad only wet abit. 2nd part of the rain with slow speed, damm underwear also wet this the most uncomfortable. 1phase touring completed : 500KM within 6hrs. hehehe

Next phase will to KL on the 25Feb.11...so guys do join us....

If you are into touring often. Its always recommended to get a set of water proof riding cum touring gears. Once you move out, dont have to worry about sudden change of weather. Also no need to bring rain coat. Sometimes its not possible to stop and change into rain gear too. Look for clover riding apparels. I have been using it since 2008.

Thats normal. It happens to me also. Your body is adjusting to the new riding mode. Once you geared the body up, no problem. Did you ride with your STX? Or CBR?

Young Bro, this mean you do exercise regularly la...or you are working at night before the trip. I already pass 40 and yet can take it. I suppose u hv alot more to caught up ...

Yes Yes. that is one. I have not used other brands so i cant recommended them. I wore the Clover riding gears to phuket. Went to thunder storm and as dried as cuttlefish.

 

Bro, 90% of mesh jackets are not water proof. Because the jacket has holes to allow more air intake. If more air are allow to enter, so is more water too. You probably have to wear a inner lining that comes with it. Its good to have a water proof jacket because you wouldnt want to have your clothes wet halfway during the journey to thailand. Imagine you have 800km more to thai border and you are already drenched from top to bottom. That is one hellva suffering ride.
