Servicing for Harley Davidson

Dear All,

 

Please assist. I just found out that a single major servicing for my 4 year old Harley that I just bought is due and is chargable at S$600 at the agent!

 

This makes no sense to me. I am sure they are fantastic and have gold plated service standards. Great for them.

 

I need to know who I can go to that is trustworthy and has a reasonable price for servicing. Please assist to reply with your experiences or workshops that I can go to outside the Agent's workshop.

but dude, if its a major servicing, like change belts & stuff ...

its still gonna hurt where-ever u go ...

You can try Combine Motors at Sin Ming Auto Point. I agree with Coldbarrel, any big ticket items is gonna cost you a bomb regardless of workshop

Depends on what needs to be changed. You can ask them for a parts quote breakdown and decide what's needed or not. Don't scrimp on it, least you wanna have many problems later. Alternatively if its not engine stuff other shops also can do. Just that with engines, if they touch it at least you can get some assurance if it breaks....... just my two cents worth.

my father changed belting for around $1k..

but it's like every 10 years.. hee

10 Years!! Super low milage leh........ Best to change @ bout 80k km to 90k. Not so ex lah, sure got other parts and bits replaced. Got my Roadking belt swapped out for $600 plus with labour. That is at the dealership.
