Difference with PU and Carbon Fiber Knuckle Protection

Hi guys, i came across on the alpine website's glove section, 2 types of knuckle protections namely PU and Carbon Fibre.

 

Anyone knows what is the difference between this 2 and which is a better choice for protection?

i would say that CF looks nice only. PU is more stronger than CF. My personal views.

haha finally someone replied. why do you think that PU is stronger than CF? i cant seem to find anyone comparison online regarding this 2. nor could i find any details about PU neither..

PU is polyurethane is much more harder than carbon fiber...

 

Carbon fiber is lighter than PU in term of density...
