They are plenty out there and recommendation you could find by searching thru the forums in here. For all we know, most cruiser rider likes to wear leather jacket and I have come across five brands “Bell”, "Frux", “Taichi”, “Dainese’ and “Joe Rocket” that have leather jacket in their catalogue. For other brands, members who have owned or come across might want to type down in this thread.

r leather jackets water proof ? is it too hot for singapore weather ?

from what I remember, some leather jackets are waterproof, some aren't. Yes, it's too hot for Singapore weather but you don't really need extra padding with it 'cos it's already padded all round......

IMO I find Dainese jackets are good with their padding & back protector, I agree with gohjohan that a waterproof jacket is just too hot for use in Singapore, IMO after using the waterprrof jacket for a period of time, I will find it discouraging to continue to wear it, because it will keep me hot inside & make me lose some concentration for riding & frustration especially traffic jam when there are even lesser wind.

Air-Mesh jackets is my recommedation, can always keep a bigger size rain coat in the box, so when rain comes, one can take out the rain coat & wear on top of the jacket.
