Just got my 2b license

Hey fellow bikers. I jus got my license today. Quite new to the bike market. I intend to purchase a new first hand bike. Model enquiring on, would be X1r or Spark. Wants to do a market research on the pricing. Any recommendation for shops?

mm, you should check the 2nd hand bikes here and note their age, condition, road tax remaining, insuarance, coe and stuff like that... you can try jln bukit merah, or around kaki bukit... if you intend to upgrade to a bigger capacity, you should consider getting a 2nd hand one, or something to keep til your big bike...

heng motor at tampines. some people will say cheat money cuz it's expensive, but quality is there.

in my opinion, don't even think bout asphoon. a friend of mine got a DRZ from there, 1 week later, overhaul, extra 900bucks.

If you're willing to travel to the West side (or stay there) there is a very good bike shop at Jln Mas Puteh called Motorpoint. Both my bikes come from there, 2nd hand but had their engines overhauled by Sam & crew.

 

They are somehow faster than average, economical and reliable.

bro new x1r, 2nd party or 3rd party with fire and theft. so be prepared to pay more for insurance.

machine should be going around 4k+/- , and dont be silly to take the x1r with sports rim with no electric starter. get the spokey rim with an electric starter.

 

you can try asking axa if they will accept you,( not because of your age but your new to riding ).

My budget only 4 to 5k. Don't mind 2nd hand. I jus want to get a 2b bike which is suitable to put box. either spark or X1r or CBR 150

Congrats!! My advice is to try a secondhand bike. Once you get your 2A, you're gonna want to change bike. Trust me on that! The key word here is depreciation bro....depreciation.....

Even if u upgrade bigger bike can still keep it.
