am not sure bro to add spacer. i saw a k7 with the top of the fork added wif this black round thing. to extend the fork makin the front higher. also the free play like u said to add internal spacer.

 

care to explain wads the use of progressive springs, spacer, and catridge. wads the use and purpose?

 

hmm sounds like there is after all an eternal spacer.

 

as for progressive springs, spacer, cartridge, - i never used them before coz i always do budget mods instead - use DIY spacer, heavier springs from bigger bikes, heavier oils etc. they were never perfect, but good enough for my liking...a little wobble here n there does add to the fun of it all

 

but then again those mods were for smaller bikes and 400cc category, i am not sure if it would work as efficiently on 600's and 1000's... which i am about to find out

Guys, just fitted a Yoshi TRS slip-on, which I bought 2nd-hand on eBay. I have to say it wasn't a perfect fit, but I simply couldn't wait to have it on. I can't mount it onto the stock hanger cos the exhaust is too high up. The eBay description says it can fit a 2002 R1, and I asked the seller; who said it could fit on a 2001 R1 as well, which I am starting to doubt.

 

I would like to keep the pillion footrests, so I'd stick with my stock hangers, and I don't want to get an after market hanger either. I have had a tough time trying to adjust the mid-pipe such that it doesn't obstruct the right foot-peg.

 

Any ideas how I can get the pipe to fit onto the stock hanger?
