Didn't get the racing throttle as need to order and I cant wait and it cost almost $400 @ Bike Tech21. In the end got myself a norm throttle and a Broquet set

I use my fingernail to poke on the tyre to determine whether the compound has harden already not..

 

Set of tyres should typically last u around 1 year..Even if u dun ride frequently, compound hardens over time as well..

even if ur tyre is new or in gd shape...if u brake ur rear very hard it will slide. so ur description also pinpoints to how hard u brake ur rear. ebrake gradual hard on the front, less on the rear

normally for frame sliders are those area your bike's engine area.

Where normally they are popping out of your fairings.

 

Saw a r1 having a slightly longer slider which are place some where above your footrest.

screw on the main frame of your bike.

i believe those are to protect the engine parts that are protruding out?

 

any 1 know what are those sliders call?

the other day i went to equipmt extreme with my fren.. n asked the boss if got any case covers/savers..

he recommended this product called "mid-frame sliders" which was so-called invented/pioneered by him.

 

like wat u said, it's longer than normal sliders, n is located just above the footrest.

 

in case of a crash or slide, he said it is supposed to protect ur fairings n of course even parts of the engine which protrude out of the fairing.

 

$90 for a pair.. compared to case covers/savers which cost USD$150+ per set..

 

but i dunno how effective it is lah.. anyone here uses it?
