Guys... Just a simple question regarding R1 01 model...

When temperature hit 104c the fan will switch on... Then when i off my engine but left the switch n the fan on, the fan still continue to spin.

But why when the fan spin when the engine is off, the temperature still remain the same n hardly go down?

bro..

mine also like that..

it will slowly drop down..

but dun expect much ar..

suzuki is different..

i read before in somewhere in sgbikes also..

its because suzuki bikes have dunno wat engine oil reservoir..

so their temperature never go as high as the r1..

i scared use the search function for u.. cause the result can make one go

removing the catalytic convertor and ex-up valve of an R1 might enhance your upper rev range power output abit if u have aftermarket can fitted on ... your low end will be affected , your bike will be a bit high-rev...If PC3 and highflow airfilter is installed then it will not be so bad...

Your bike will have least "back-pressure" to help you push your bike at low end 2 - 3.5krpm if u mod your whole exhaust into a ""all-thru" system ...

Another thing is that installing k&N or BMC highflow airfilter will not lower

the temperature of your bike (especially R1 with stock underseat exhaust).

Correct me if I'm wrong...
