I feel dat it is a bit ex. i got my automatic TRE from ebay at abt $80 (not ivan brand). so do u think paying 150++ for a extra gear indicator is worth it? but it look really nice la!

valve clearance and cam chain tensioner is 2 diff thing. Both will produce ticking sound. As gsxr is well known to have the cam chain giving out the ticking sound, that one of course will not make a diff when you change to a new one. I might consider changing to those manual adjust cam tensioner when mine is a goner. Valve clearance not necassary have to do once you reach a certain mileage, etc 60k km. You can op to do it when you really hear the sound coming out.

i feel it up to each to decide, if i got the extra cash to spare, i will buy the GI-PRO TRE. Since it got a gear indicator , and the gear indicator work great.

Just to share my bad experience with you guy,

 

I went for my 2nd servicing at Guan Hoe today. After he put in the engine oil, he forget to cover the cap and release the bike to me. Without checking, i pay and left. When riding, i feel my bike seems weird and stop by the road side to check then I realised the mistake.

 

For i do know how much engine oil has left. I fear it will damaged the engine and there i tow it back to Guan Hoe which is closed by then.

 

PLease think twice, if not double check when servicing with them.

 

My bike is only 2 month old. I fear for the worst.

I think for servicing , dun really need to go back to GH. It better to go to a bike shop you trust.
