usual drag bars are relatively straight but still has bends

broomsticks are drag bars that are very straight, no bends.

top is a broomstick, still a kind of drag bar, the rest are all drag bars.

Easiest to get from Ebay, or catalogue at WS.

Where's Seng Kwang at? I'm starting to buy stuff at eBay, but I need someone experiance to help me insall the parts that I bought...Seng Kwang do tank mods?

Seng Kwang is at AMK AutoPoint.

They r not the typical bike workshop, they specialize in stainless steel stuffs only... like IU brackets, GPS brackets, engine guards, side/top box brackets, racks, and exos mods...

if it's installation of general parts, can go to any workshop. But if it's harley stuffs then better go to a harley pro shop. :thumb:

btw, what tank mod u r referring to?

It's a aftermarket tank...need to clear the rusty part in the tank I need to install gas cap (needs

welding) and petcock for the tank...and I want to make it a frisco style tank...so I need to mod the tank to install it to my bike...

Ya dragbars are definitely more comfy on mid-controls.. with forward controls, you'll tend to lean forward more and hence you'll need bars that pull back a little more.. or your ride to Thailand will seriously improve your existing "sit and reach" distance. Fierce-looking position to be seen in if you're riding in SG but quite impractical for long-haul rides.

As for Broomsticks.. i personally feel that if there aren't going to be any bends at the end, the length of the bar should be a little shorter than your regular drag bars with the pullback.. or else the broomsticks will stick out too much. Kinda like a person with BIG ears.

i did mine for much less than $100...

but b'cos we r gd friends and i get special discount

stainless steel is better than those chrome ones as it will not rust over time...

but one setback is that u can't drill holes on it to run cables inside (was told that if drill hole, cracks might form at the hole after sometime due to its mechanical property).
