You guys heard about the nc700x or the cross runner? Do you think they will bring in together with the cross tourer?

 

NC700X is not Crossrunner, it just looks like one.

I know the nc700x is not the cross runner. I just didn't know the cross runner is already here n there is actually a thread for it.. oops!

I quite happy with the S10 range(of course I wish for 33L GSA tank la)

 

Now 110PS with 23L tank does 300km when tour.

 

Xtourer 127PS & 23L tank....hard to say Liao.anything less then 300km makes more refuel stop...

 

 

Actually, it holds 21.5 liters only... But based on the VFR1200F, the FC gets better as the bike is run in. From a blog i read it can reached close to 400 klicks. The VFR1200X aka XTourer specs is exactly not much diff frm VFR1200F. Anyways, that i asume since the tourer is not out yet. On the FC we can find out from the Europeans as they will get their taste early March.

 

Ps: It will be very bad for Honda if the XTourer couldnt even go to 300km. I dont think they would jepodize their big name. Right???

i meant a range of 300km at TOUR mode ( cruise speed of >130km/hr type).

 

it common for increase FC when at such speed as compare to city riding.

 

the S.tenere are able to achieve 18km/L in city riding but will fall below 12~16km/L(depend on how fast & long it goes).

 

21.5L that include reserve too?

 

will be keeping an eye on the euro Xtourer user feedback too.:thumb:

Specs did indicate full tank is 21.5liters.

Dude... Let me know too when the XTourer arrives. Wana go check out the bike. Whether I'll change anot I'm not sure yet & dependent on several factors including how much is my bonus in April. Hahaha!! My TDM is serving me well and is one of the cheapest Adv Tourer to maintain.

Hahaha. Jokes aside. Really wana check out this XTourer & do some sums. My TDM is old but still very reliable. Just needa service & change some worn parts. So far it's the S10 & this. F800GS after the last time we chatted I hav some doubts liao. R1200GS or GSA too chunky & maintainence might be a nightmare.

F800GS is a excellent bike,mid size,enough power,modern design & looks good.

 

It just personal taste....OTR S$33k...I opt for something more Japanese reliable,cheaper parts cost & 400cc more torque.keke

 

But on serious note; I still believe the Versys650 or versys1000 or Vstorm 1000 will fit your preference more.

 

S10,Xtourer,tiger,GS are more big size tourer.

It's a psychological thingy. If there's something bigger... Get that instead!! Hahaha.

 

Same as when I bought my Forester. For all the 'wrong' reasons I opted for the 2.5XT instead of the 2.0X. Haha!!

Alamak roti.... Not sold yet? Tot the guy bought frm u oledi. I just bought an used Komine from another TDM rider. Cheap one. Hahhaha. Now I'm stuck with 2 jackets cos I have a A* as well.

 

Well..... Maybe if I change bike, specifically either the XTourer OR ah hock's S10... Then I must also upgrade my jacket that matches the status of the bike & can get urs! Haha!!
