Everyone have different tolerance level for e engine heat.Personally for me, i'm fine but if it could get better for a fraction of e cost, why not.Apart from e slightly more F/C,i believe it's a good trade.Freer flowing headers without e stupid cat box choking it,mild increase in torque & prolly 1bhp hike from e 80bhp at e rear wheel...

How about the comfortable cruising speed on highway?

e 799cc inline triple is comfortable anywhere between 18km/h-190km/h.It starts to feel out of breath when it's nearing e 200km/h mark but hey,who wants this kind of bike for that speed?? I cruise between 110km/h-160km/h and it's happy to be ridden that way.Hope e info helps. U riding one?

That's nice, think of getting one and worried that spare parts might be pricey. So far any problems on this bike?

just goten back the tiger. most notable improvement is the smoothness. as in closing of trottle no longer is choppy. the fan seem to kick in later n my inner thigh do not feel the heat during a short ride in dense traffic of abt 7km. trootle response i felt no difference but more smooth. yet to try out highway drive. perhaps a petrol run this fri night.

Hi Guys, please forgive to interrupt.

Have any one of you own Revo (CB400) before? How is the heat from engine compare to tiger 800? Which runs hotter?

sorry bro,

i didn't ride a CB4 before but what i can share is every CL2 bike have heat, just that it is more or less etc.

Personally, i find the heat of T800 is fine for me even it is within town area

For obvious reasons, bigger capacity engine produces more bhp & torque figures so heat produced is definitely more.Whether it's tolerable or not depends on e rider.Personally,e heat produced by e Tiger is reasonably normal for a class 2 bikes.I have ridden a few bikes before and they are all well within my tolerance level.Have a testride if there's 1 available from Mah Motor.Cheers!

I would suggest Jap bikes their way cooler!

Not true Jap bikes are way cooler. Try FZ1, I'm certain is hotter than the Tiger 800. And then Busa is even hotter than FZ1.... so there... :)

Bro... I am a ex FZ1 rider.. try riding the T800 for comparasion...

The problem is the big single unit fan on the T800 and the air is directed towards the engine and the knees... the FZ1 is using 2 fans, after u decat it, the fans dont get to turn on most of the time, hence cooler. (BTW my T800 is also decat)

Hi All, thanks for the feedback on heat.

Agree, it's subjective from person to person. That's why I try to look for the opinion of the rider who own a Revo before tiger 800. However, I think the chance is small. :(
