may i check with seniors that had done the decatt at mah, how long does it take to get it done? do u need prior arrangment or booking with mah?

Agree. There's no reason for the XC unless you're tall and hence feel more comfy with taller bike.

Basically,other than e spoke wheels of e 800 XC,45mm fork,piggy back rear shock & e OEM 30mm risers,e rest of e accessories can be purchased separately and your roadie(800) can be made to look almost similar to e XC. Have a testride so u can make up your mind on which one to get.My advice is to get e roadie as it pretty much eat up everything u throw at it.Cheers!

Wonder what it feels like to decat but remain with e stock exhaust?Hmm... Not much BHP/Torque gain but definitely cooler feel on your thighs & calves... What do u think?

in my opinion, the power gain is minimal but the gain in comfort is less vibration/buzzing at higher speed, less heat and smoother (does not have that choke feeling). i had done so for my previous g650gs and i believe it is a must do for my current tiger. hmm seem like it will need a few days at mah for decat ley..sian half.

 

i also googled on how to decat the tiger, seem like a few hours job for that guy only. haha

Think they sent the pipe for welding after the decat.

Pay them double the price if they can done it within the day.

 

BTW your change your pipe or suing the stock?

Do feedback the FC and any noticabe reduction in the heat?

My FC is now about ~17km/l (not stock pipe), heat wise bike run cooler and the heatup time is not as fast as before... But it is still a hot bike

Decat do not transform the bike, only made it better

Somewhere somehow there's sure to be a shop who does e dismantling & welding all in 1.I think Seng Kwang should be able to BUT his price is _______(i shall leave that to those who've been there before.I did)

I'm currently getting 20-21km/l consistently.I only pump when my "trip 1" mileage states 350km.Usually about 1 bar left.Yes i'm running on stock exhaust still.I just want to improve on e airflow cos u can feel e catalyzer choking it...
