No log card, then you will face the high possibilities of U-Turning back to Malaysia

No veh. reg. papers, only u yourself can enter. Veh can park at car park. If you have really forgotten your veh. reg. papers, find a internet shop at the border town and print out your veh reg. details from the LTA website.

those printouts are acceptable? it does not state the owner's name of the vehicle, only details. can ah? thanks.

anybody? those onemotoring printouts are acceptable?

yup........u got to highlight the chasis, engine,Liciense plate and owner's name, yes it does state the owner names

but to access the site you need a SING PASS

** owner's name must clearly be shown on the print out, u need to use SINGPASS to login to print. **

Hi guys, can someone enlighten me whether subrider is able to ride to Thailand? Bike is nt registered under my name!

It's possible but are you cover under the insurance?

You have to get the owner to draft a letter indicating his/her NRIC / Name approving you.. your NRIC /Name having ownership of the vehicle.

But I won't recommend it as the Thai - Border Custom as times may seek more documentation that a mere letter. A change of owner ship at LTA would be a safer bet.

I just came back from Hatyai (Via Car) and I would only comment that the Thai-Custom are really straight with the importation rules. Checking owner ship and passport.

To Me....

It's the Rider! Not the Bike! o_O

if no log card then you just need to give them the charge of the tiger head that should solve all problems hehe

A vehicle log card is a official document that states the owner and vehicle's particulars.

Since u are 1st time travelling up north, ample rest is advisable..

Usually for a trip up north, to fill the tank for the trip, we need to have at least 6 petrol pit stop(vary for diff bike for diff fc and tank capacity).

Insurance and authorize letter from bike owner is a must to enter Thailand.

Which part of thailand u intend to visit so that the forum members can advise according.
