AGE is definitely not a factor, bro...

The coolest thing is seeing a rider calmly scraping his exhaust at an almost impossible angle on a sharp bend (almost as if he did it purposely) and when he take off his helmet afterwards, realise he's an ... UNCLE.

May be we started early, so we are sian now, just want to have a relax ride.

In my 20s, I think of speed, nothing but speed, even if the seat is like a pc of metal, I can travel all day. At 30s, I think of storage and speed. At mid 30s, my mind is more complex, I think of saving $, comfort, speed (will be happy if the bike can go beyong 240km/hr), storage, style, safety and etc...

At 40s, ??? Bicycle - I guess. No wonder so many ah pek ride bicycle.

I was waiting for this particular Fazer to be produced but unfortunately it was a photoshopped picture.

If they do produce it, it will be perfect. Hope they will produce something like that. Super nice bike.

You are too decent looking and too handsome to ride a FZ1, just stick to yr GS lah, don't be affected by others.

My 2nd hand krauser panniers are from Ebay, Germany. Do a search and you will be surprise what colours are available.

Paid 152 euros to have it shipped here as well. I have seen them in Loois but they are 40L and they cost near 1K.

However, there are no mounting fixtures to suit the TDM. Except for the standard bracket that looks like a hockey stick. I have this bolted to the existing handrail plus using using DIY fixtures to strengthen it in case it drops off.

My topbox is not from Krauser but from Givi. (Maxia52)

Personally I like the colour matching, retro look, safety (due to it being white) and I find it to be the slimmest of the 30L panniers. Respraying the bike will be awesome but I am not ready to commit to something that permenant as yet.

I do not know how to mod the key to suit the bike key but the currently key opens the panniers as well as unlock them from the rack. If there is a way, can you teach me pls?

BM panniers locks can be changed but for yammi, think you hv to check with Lee @ HL. If you are okay with different key, then don't bother lah, guess too much work just to get 1 key to open all, alternatively, you may like to consult locksmith to adjust the lock setting inside yr panniers, as long as you can slot yr key into the panniers lock, they are able to make wonders for you. Get a quote from 1st, it can be more expensive than purchasing the original panniers.

Alamak, seem like TDM is really out for me, if they really produce tt, Yami is really crazy, it is as good as stripping R1 naked or half naked. Rims, swingarm, exhausts and etc... all from R1. Think it is cheaper (and lower insurance) to get the "new" FZ1 and purchase the aftermarket lower fairing and lower the handlebar. Then you get the street bike R1. comfort, speed, power and storage (with H & B panniers) all in 1.

The Vespa GTS 250 i.e. renews the GS blend of speed and style to become the fastest, most powerful and most high-tech Vespa in history. With an ultra-modern, powerful 250cc four-stroke, liquid-cooled, electronic injection engine, the Vespa GTS has large 12" wheels and a superb double-disc braking system with an optional ABS and brake servo. The Vespa GTS 250 i.e. is one of the very first two-wheelers - and the first in the 250cc category - to meet the strict upcoming 2006 Euro 3 standards. The steel frame is the same design as the successful Vespa Granturismo and new features on the GTS include the tail light, instrument panel, a wide, racy saddle and a vintage-Vespa-style rear rack.

Cheap, Speed (hmmm) o_O , storage, comfort and safety (ABS optional).

Sexy beast and naked Sachs staff

Sometimes you have to wonder whether Sachs, the German motorcycle manufacturer, are for real or not. First they launch a bike powered by Suzuki's rather sluggish VX800 called Bomb just around 9/11 in NY 2001. They had to change that to B-805 in the end. In 2003 we could finally ride the bike. Another special, Beast, is to be produced in 1000 units. It is going to be a 1000cc bike as well and thats about all we know about it. Will we ever see it in a showroom? Maybe, but don't hold your breath. Now the maker of Madass, Dirty Devil, Beast, Saxy and Quads4rock has launched a new marketing campaign. What is special is that it includes naked Sachs staff members. Remember the film Calendar girls? "Sachs; The message: We are genuine, we take it seriously, and with our nakedness we reveal our souls, to tawdry "sex sells" gimmick." Hmmm, we like it here at Raptorsandrockets.com and we think this is a good idea and now we want to see more of this from more manufactorers. In fact, we encourage it! Get naked!

http://www.raptorsandrockets.com/images/Aprilia%20Magnet2_e.jpeg

Aprilia Magnet Finish designer Heikki Naulapaas Magnet is a highly experimental prototype with three wheels and motorcycle tyres. Something for the future. Looks more exciting than BMW's C1 anyway.
