My new MD is very fascinated with Harley, told me that in Japan, only the very rich are able to own HD and most HD in Japan are more expensive than the normal cars there (guess "normal" to them is 2000cc and above), he cannot believe that he is driving a Ceifero (our company car) that cost about SD104,000 2 yrs ago.

When I told him that the price of HD here are comparable to some Japanese bikes, he felt Singaporean are very fortunate and encourage me to own 1. hmmm, I should have told him that I will get 1 if I am getting 10% of his salary. :sian:

Really curious about HD, what makes such a simple bike so attractive, I like only 883R or 1200R, the rest are just too big for me, anyway, guess only the owners know.

Remembered I did post here that 1 of our fleet German Chief Eng told me : "if you hv not ridden a HD, you have not ridden a bike in your life".

True or false.

This is nice.

Too precious, park inside the house.

Its an attention grabber...

Most pedestrains and motorists look over and are fasinated by it.

others are disgusted by the noise pollution. :faint:

There is a king of the road feeling (although I didn't ride the road king) while cruising on a unpopulated highway.

When we see any Harley on the road, there's a sense of bonding.

Even in KL when a Malaysian Harley passed by me, we acknowledged each other.

anyway, if anyone feels that Harley owners are snobbish or stuckup, we ain't.

Its juz stereotyping lah...

Mabbe juz get ur hands on a Harley(if possible cos Harley owners are really damn meticulous) and riding it.

U'd either enjoy it thoroughly or juz dislike it totally... :thumb:

Anyway, I'm still riding my Harley..

Fly with a Piaggio Copter

If you'd like to look like a helicopter pilot when you're riding your bike or scooter, then Piaggio could have the answer.

The demi-jet designed Copter lid is inspired by helicopter pilots. It's handmade in Italy, and partly covered and trimmed with textured leather, which is sewn directly onto the shell with a special patented system. The shell is themroplastic in two external sizes for a good fit, and it has a soft touch matt finish.

The lining is Dupont Terinda, and fastening is with a quick-release buckle. the bubble visor is also adjustable.

The Piaggio Copter is available to match Vespa and Piaggio scooters, in Black/Black leather, Anthracite/Anthracite leather, Silver/Red leather or Light Blue/Blue leather. It comes in sizes XS-XL, and costs £110.
