R12RT is a damn good bike in general, review is very subjective, like what Cloudy said, boring bike to the editor is usually a good daily bike for "NORMAL" people, those bikes that wins a thumb up from the editor will be too scary to ride it daily.

Furthermore, who on earth will say that their own bike is lousy, they wouldn't want to damper the re-sale value, right? so, any review/comment from the owner will definitely be positive unless from ex-owner, ex-owner usually will utter nonsense on his ex-bike and give damn super good review / comment to his present bike...

Go for it, don't listern to others, listern to your heart...

Just to let you know, I am going to Phuket with the guys... my virgin trip to Phuket... hahahaha and I am going there with a very loud and lose front brake disc plate, leaking carb, almost BOTAK front tyre (as no stock till 2months later), hope I can make it there and back safely, wish me luck... Thanks.

New BMW Superbike

BMW is planning its most radical superbike yet, a lightweight version of the R1200S.

The new bike, dubbed the HP2, will follow the same concept that brought us the HP1, which is based on the R1200GS.

The bike will be massively changed from the stock R1200S and like the HP1 it will have changed from a mild mannered road bike to a fire-breathing competition machine.

Expect to see the bike launched later this year.

What you have mentioned is just "REGULAR WEAR AND TEAR", look at the new R6, 1 of the very advance tech they put on the bike is the ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED throttle meaning (from my own understanding) that when you twist the throttle, it will send the signal to the CHIPS and CHIPS then send messageS to the throttle body, what an advance tech, should be good I guess.

Question is, what if it spoils? Guess you might need to change the chip, cable and etc... and what if the CHIPS is not receiving the signal or the signal is not correctly transmitted to the CHIPS? May be Yammy has already solve IT as they should hv anticipated idiot like me will be worrying for nothing. :cheeky:

Don't worry, just ride and be happy, anything goes wrong, YOUR DARLING WILL TELL YOU : "IT'S LIKE THAT ONE... "

Ducati Desmosedici RR, 990 V4 MotoGP road replica ready!

Next Thursday, June 1st is the big day for everyone that has been waiting for the most exclusive and powerful Ducati ever. I am not even going to guess about how powerful it is as it will all be revealed right here after noon next Thursday after the Mugello launch. What we do know now is that Ducati is planning 3-400 bikes and that there will be two different versions. It is expected that 100 of them will be a super super exclusive RR with all the best bits bolted on. Another 300 could be a "standard" version if you can call a 990cc MotoGP derived V4 standard. If you own a 999R here are some good news for you since your wallet probably can take it. Ducati says: "Starting from June 2 it will be possible to reserve the bikes through the dealer network worldwide. 999R owners will have pre-emption rights." "The bike will 'run' for the next 3 months in the most important Exhibition worldwide, to arrive in November at the Eicma Show in Milan." You lucky bas***ds on 999Rs!
