Mr Wu's favorite is the R90S but since it is no longer available, he created some accessories for the new R1200R...I think this is nicer...

May be... I think Triumph built very nice bikes this time round, very details with good finishing but engine seem kind of lazy...

Hi CoolCat.

The thread is really fascinating. Worth a read. Made me forget about riding my GS. How amazing.

The VFR750 that I was riding was really one of a kind. I only saw one other bike on the road and that was in the more common Testarossa Red. My bike was silver and black. I loved it... it was really awesome!

But after much much consideration, I would say that the GS handles just as well, if not better. It loses out when the twisties start getting... err, twistier.

Truth be told, I miss my VFR. She's in very good hands now, though.

Got pic of your old VFR? always wanted to know how different it looks from the pre-2 pipe VFR.

Cheers

wow... the ultimate Norton commander, the designer is able to maintain the original shape with modern tech & all the goodies. The ohlins are really sweet with ''matching pipes''. Really hope that termis shape like this for my classic.

Are they going to produce this beast?

Thruxton-styled pipes, I have always like them; have always thought that the T-Bird would look better with those.

The Norton is nice, would be real cool if can fit them Gold stuff on an old Norton and run them.

Cheers

Hi,

Any idea when will the F800GS reach Spore? :)

Doesn't seems to have a confirmed date at the moment. Did saw the X-Moto when collecting my bike. Nice! Would be a good city bike to run around in.

Saw a F800ST in International Plaza yesterday. Blue. Nice bike, compact package and I like the way the pannier rails are recessed into the rear. Any feedback on the belt drive? Apparently belt drive is allegedly the least efficient of all drives, apart from chain and shaft.

Can't wait to see the GS version.

Cheers

Harleys are all belt driven. Didn't know that belts are least efficient. I didn't feel anything amiss with belt-drive at all.

I never had a chain-driven bike since my very first bike. I had purposely avoided chain-driven bikes when I look for a new machine.

Yeah, the whole pannier mounting system is not visible when the panniers are taken out, but the size of the panniers are pathetic. Can no longer put my riding jacket with back protector into the panniers, can't put in a helmet without extending the pannier.

The bike handles great though. The brakes are fantastic. Practiced a few rounds of e-braking along Lim Chu Kang, the bike can really stop! I think less than 2 lamp posts from 80-90 km/h to almost complete stop, and I still had not braked to the max. Really scary experience the first few times I tried it. Wished it had the telelever or the latest duolever....

I tried a GS before. Love it! They were saying ST riders before.Never try a GS or you'll dump or ST. hee. Too bad I got another bike or I'd get a GS. But also I'm a bit too small to handle one.

I would need a ladder to get on a GS!

I know, that is what I feel about my scooter too.
