dropped by Perfection to get help for my dim headlights.he observed n explained that the insides of the headlamp is dusty i.e the glass and wall thus not reflecting light britely.i asked him to wash it for me and he proceeded with spraying chemical in it.after washing he dried with the air hose and its squeeky clean.The stock bulb is still ok but i went ahead with the white light one which.

In the shop there were some jap bikes,italians, 2 RTs and a gorgeous GS 1200 with no license plate.I asked him about and he said it was not for sale.i guess it's meant to 'accessorise' the shop

@maddog   at least confirm that bike is from PML and not a PI..post 12695 i already mentioned the benefit of PML bike   the rest of the check is just like buying another 2nd hand bike..oh yeah make

Brake pad, can go motoworld to change SBS.. not costly and braking power is there.

I asked him about my shock absorbers and said they r still ok,after he pressed down on the bars and seat few times.they r actually set quite soft.he explained that it's normal for the front shocks to feel 'hard' when on the move.i'm convinced now ...

Besides the forums,you should scan thru the classified ads in the papers.There r sometimes BMW bikes for sale at 'normal' bike shops which handle them like Excel and Dili.I got mine from the latter.was lucky.actually wanted a new kawa but the beemer was much cheaper ,budget constraints etc

Hehe..no lah a fellow bmw rider from office wants to know ;)

 

my kl trip last weekend something flew off again.... 01x pivot pin assembly (right) of the main stand....lost only discovered when back home putting up with main stand...something's wrong..lucky the mainstand still hanging on by one side....damn lucky cant image wat will happen if the whole thing flew off during high speed...next time have to check bike after every stop. must do halt-parade task (saf drivers will know) ;)

 

seems like every mid-distant trip something is lost hahahaa... 1st the CF cylinder cover guard, now main stand parts....

had engine oil and filter changed at Combine motors.Castrol mineral oil at $10 per bottle.hiflo filtro $17.the cheapest oil change i've ever had!
