Read today's papers? Now we cannot fuel up within 50 km from Singapore. Great. How to go track now? Seriously will affect the JB economy, I reckon. The causeway petrol station had been single-handedly keeping JB afloat!

 

There goes my supper / breakfast rides too.

 

Just a gentle reminder from our neighbours as to who's the real boss even if the ICJ says a small rock in the middle of the ocean belongs to us.

IMVHO, I dare say its 1 of 2 cruisers that I have seen and would consider buying amongst the many in s'pore. The other one is ridden by a nice chap somemore around seletar with a lovely lovely set of sport rims.

Thinking of going to Downtown East, Ti Amo cafe, got big screen, saw F1 Monte Carlo race aired there last weekend. Dunno they aired for Motogp too, worst case can watch from internet since got free internet there.....

I have changed some wear and tear items like the rear tyre and rear brake disc+pads. So far so good, smooth and torquey ride:thumb:

Is it normal for vibrations to be very noticeable at the handlebars when the engine rpm rises above 4.5k?

 

At 3-4.4k rpm, the response from the engine and the vibrations from the handlebars can be described as enjoyable. Smooth and soft twin boxer power pulses.

 

As soon as the revs builds up to more than 4.5k, the vibrations at the handlebars amplified by a lot. Not really to the nuisance of numbing the arms and fingers.. but somehow slightly annoying. Strange to say that the vibrations stops at the handlebars. The footpegs does not vibrate, neither do the fuel tank, only the handlebars.

 

Is this normal? Mine's a 96R1100R.

Just change the worn out and out of shape MEZ4 front tyre to a MEZ6. So far so good. The new tyres makes the bike holds its line in a corner much much better.

 

My ABS alternating lights went off for a day. Just now during a short ride, the lights came back on at the dash. This time round both ABS light stays lit. No flashing alternatively. What does it mean?

today on the way back home, 1 vios suddenly swerve into my lane. instead of horning him, i signal left......

One question, can our bike keys be duplicated by any key makers? Or do we have to go back to PML to get a key for $58?

 

The ABS lights were flashing alternatively. According to stamford motors, the ABS should be working fine. He suspects the brakes. The previous owner believes that a fully charged battery will solve the problem. I guess I just have to ride it more often to get the battery to charge up.

 

Your battery are giving you problem that I am pretty sure, get it charge up and see the results of it then
