I'm wondering if Dili owns those used bike that are there for sale or are they just consigning for owners? Do they charge storage fees for those bikes on sale?

 

I've got similar comments from the staff at Dili regarding the K1200LT. According to them, the reason that it is hard to leave the showroom is due mainly to the intimidating size and weight of the machine. Secondly, the K engine is much more complex and difficult to maintain than the R boxer. engine.

 

 

yes they are for sale.they were either sold for cash or traded in for another.these bikes at dili seem to find new owners in no time.i'm impressed actually.i bought my RR there so get to see wat's in store each mth i come to pay installments.currently they have the new Ducati motard going for $28big ones! couple of mths ago they had a yammie MT-01.asked calvin the boss about GSs and RTs and he said these hardly come in.damn

I have a feeling that Dili is aiming for a more upmarket sector compared to some other repair and service bike shop around that area that target the mass rider market.

 

Their parts and service fees are on the high side. I like the friendly mechanic but no one does a more detail job than the owner whose life depends on the good condition of the bike.

Wow, K1200LT... nice but many think the back of the bike looks like coffin... may be I like coffin design. I have never ridden one but saw 2 being towed back from Hatyai.

i ride with my panniers all the time, normal jams are quite easy to squeeze only those really tight rds got some problems...

my battery light has lit up after couple of days of alternate blinking of the abs .guess time to get fresh batt.aaarghh gonna cost $200+ from pml :(
