Hi all,

 

i was thinking of sending my RT for a restoration. To do a complete check and replace all faulty and used parts, touch up paint work etc.

 

Anyone can recommend a bike shop for that?

Time is not an issue and looking to spend below $2k.

how you've been doing lately man, it's been a while ya.

Yes, I bought a RT recently, (still keeping the T5), and thought of getting some works to be done on it. The usual wear and tear starts to appear and I thought it is timely to get all these done up nicely for a great ride like this. Recently had a slight brush on my right pannier with some marks on it too.

 

How is your ride? She must be cool to ride ya... still working at the same place ?

nice! I had the chance to tried a 1100RT and 1100R, eventually heart followed the R cus i like naked more...but i am really impressed by how smooth they ride.

 

eh find a thur or friday nite we do an old-school dinner at kallang kfc leh...maybe find a few other beemers, older one especially, haha, can share abit of knowledge and pointers.

Hi bro, it's a '97 model.

Am surprised about the engine's condition even after so many years, albeit the exterior needs some touching up.

Guess BMW really put in much effort in research and development.

I have a friend riding the RT too, he just almost done his touching up...and his RT is about your year too, maybe you wanna chat up with him? oh and hor, good thing is, he is also doing spray painting, my 11R and his RT is sprayed by his company one...not bad.
