Brake pad, can go motoworld to change SBS.. not costly and braking power is there.

HI guys & Gals, am riding a r1200st, anyone know where can I get a so call heel protector or engine downside protector? Something like the plate below the GS to protect the oil filter, counter balance, etc. ANd the price..

If u do a google on accessories, there are TONS of websites selling. Alternatively, u can try M-technik.

This is my personal opinions.

Jap made fast bike is better in every expects. :p

 

Some Harley owners tell me, his tweaks done gain some horsepower or

some Harley fantatics tell me VRod very fast ... :faint:

If you want fast, go for Jap fast bikes ... :D

 

Over 40k spend on SV1000RR still can't justify vs 09 Yamaha R1.

When both bike are fast, is the rider, not the bike to win.

 

Unless ... someone is just buying for its name "BMW" then I have no say ... :p

Most modern beemers have accessories that can easily add up to the price of what we have paid for the bike. Only a matter of how much u are willing to spend rather than how many accessories there are on the market to fit your bike, damn poisonous. :goodluck:

Yes, was visiting PITA, giving him grief etc. :)

 

He used to have one in his shop, the R1200ST. Doesn't have that many hexheads in his shop. That day the one I saw cruised past.

 

PITA nowadays don't do much repair now except for members, more like consultant now. Saw him turning away bikes.

i want his job....getting paid to give advice while the customer works on the bike himself....lovely arrangement!

 

i think he needs more challenges, he can diagnose most issues by just asking a couple of questions.....

Ar i see .. well i think pita is good with BMW bikes.. he got all the knowledge just that he do this as a hobby not passion .. well i just go there for maintain ace service and most of it i DIY there but anywau actually pita had a good heart.. and it depend on which person he want to do with,,, he be happy if u DIY with him ..haha just my experience once i had damage with my gear box and all he take is 1 day with me DIY ..
