De Xing selling the GS Adevture triple black @ $39k..wow

The price of the GS is crumbling down!

Ps. I am not in anyway associated with the bike shop..

Actually I got mine at $43k machine price with Performance... more like the Euro$ weakening in exchange rate...

and that includes 2 Touratech side panniers (free)

like getting used to the heat... and all the sweating...

been driving before this.. and so used to travelling with aircon...

also the hand and fingers feeling strained as the muscle groups involved in pushing bike and pulling on clutches and brakes have been inactive for 2 decades at least...

Wa, you more hiong than me. I stopped for a decade, came back to take my class 2A and then class 2. So now we both ride a GS and can laugh at puny bikes... LOL...

woah, 1200GS handle bar have strong vibration at speeds above 120km/h. First time riding ADV bikes, do they exhibit such strong vibrations all the time? Wont it get tiring over long distance?

I changed my handguards to the bark buster. Added the additional weight design for the bark buster. You can check out the pictures:

So far it helped eliminate the low speed buzz coming to the hands riding locally. Haven't try on high speed as I just installed.

There's a page started by BMW motorcycle club. But it does not seem to get much ideas or chats... more like an events page. Check them out.

Thanks idono, I will check that out , I am new to BMW motorbikes , always feared the much talk about maintenance cost but recently log into http://www.ascycles.com/. As BMW motorcycles and found out that BMW parts are actually cheaper than Honda ST 13X - fuel pump Assy for BM US$467 versus STX 13 at US$700 plus ! Am I correct to say that ? Maybe the more experience owners can enlighten us newbies , any way BMW forum is where we can learn more about our bikes right ?

I know how it feels like.. Been off bikes for quite some time and got a shock at how heavy the bike is.. after awhile got use to it and enjoying my ride..
