Thanks to JJ007 & Coolcat bros for the tip. Think will pay Bikelab a visit one of these days; noticed they are carrying Spiegler SS lines too! ;-)

Contact Joseph of BikeLab, I think he still makes customised brake lines.

I have a stupid question. In the past, usually, i buy bike, i just say "how much is insurance", then shop will quote me and i pay and there i have insurance. When i bot the GS, i was asked, "Do you want 3rd party, fire & theft, or just basic".... i tot for very long time and say fire & theft....

Is this the normal insurance that most bikers get?! Never knew so many options for insurance....

erm.. how long ago did you buy your last bike...?

even 10 yrs ago, motorcycle insurance have always been 3 categories

1st Party or comprehensive.

TPFT, Third Party/Fire and Theft

3rd Party - the most basic

different categories different cost. and suits different bikers.

You got problem loading map? Could be you have other duplicate maps running in the background. Just disable the other map it should work.

Thanks for your reply. City Navigator Southeast Asia NT (Ver. 7.6) comes in SD Card and inserted in a brandnew Navigator IV.

BMW Motorrad Navigator IV has serious issues with the City Navigator® Southeast Asia NT (Ver. 7.6). The unit will switch off for no aparent reason way too often. Version 7.6 makes the unit useless, as it goes off unpredictably from the very first day and sometimes can not even restart at all. Initially I thought that, the unit was faulty and Garmin replaced it (after puting pressure on them of course). Then they given me the new unit with Version 6.5 software till they find a solution to the Version 7.6 problem. A month later (that was yesterday) Garmin Singapore called me told me my Version 7.6 replacement is ready. I inserted it in the Navigator IV and the same old problem re-appeared. I will return the software SD card back to them today and hope they will solve the problem soon. In the meantime I will be using Version 6.5 which is not that up-to-date but it works perfectly with the Navigatopr IV. Those who want to purchase BMW Motorrad Navigator IV and use it with the City Navigator® Southeast Asia NT (Ver. 7.6) better think twice.

Thank you for your reply. Could you please let me know what was the version of the Navigator® Southeast Asia NT that you've used. If you are not sure of the version, could you please let me know the period that you used it or purchased it?

Thank you very much in advance.

Ya, F800GS comes with 16L tank, the add-on is ~20L. So total 36L :).... In theory, you can go for ~800km wo petrol stop.

No petrol stop but need butt stop..

But I've read forums n people said that the bike became too heavy...hmm...
