get it mounted professionally at a bike shop if you can't find the proper parts to do it. you're mounting it on the forks which is near the wheels. if it falls off and entangles the wheels you're screwed.

To do list:

- Steel brake hoses (In progress...)

- Rewire bike

- Repaint fairing and clean up bike

- Replace exhaust system (DONE!)

it looks like a spot light and spot light cannot get into contact with water.. so be careful !

cos the glass will get very very hot and once touch water.. good luck...

do check out the wattage as well.. if too high it might drain ur battery fast. or reduce the life-span of your battery

think it would be better to get fog lights made for cars or motorcycles..

:goodluck:

you will need plenty of that.

you will need a holder for the light, preferably encased and water-proof.

you will need a bracket so that it can be mounted on the bike. 2 locations you can consider: 1) front fender or 2) front axle.

if you are lucky, it will work (unlikely).

if you are unlucky, you lose $4 (likely).

if you are very unlucky, the whole wiring/fuse goes haywire, and you lose a lot of $ (quite likely).

after you have been frustrated enough in the damn thing not working, you may want to check out how it's done.

Bro if the auxillary lights that you intend to mount onto your bike is not weather and waterproof it may cause your bike problems later on..And for installing the auxillary lights it may drain your battery bike when you on it and causing your headlight or your signal lights to weaken.Unless you are prepared to install another battery onto your bike for the purpose of just the auxillary lights and other accessories,(example like voltmeter).

y not try this

(my eng poor ... try to understand what i'm typing)

get a medicent bottle ....

prefer to be the size of the lights ...

cut the bottle to length ... u dun want it to be too long right ...

put plastersin into the bottle

but plastersin will fall off when u moving due to vibrations

so this stuff i leave it to u to think .....

place the spot light into the bottle

at the bottle end should have holes for the wires to go tru

buy some brackets ....

and some nuts ...

secure it at the bottle and at the position u want

and lastly ......

spray the medicient bottle of ur fav colour ....

it happens to be in my imagination so u try to work it out ....

at most u'll lost another 5 - 8 bucks ...

hrm ..........

Past to present rides

haha good idea man.. but i think medicine bottles are small man.. anyways, i figured i was gonna buy those coloured cups from IKEA, screw the lamp holder to the base of the cup, drill holes at the back for the wires, put big metallic washers to the screws to dissipate any heat and paste and acrylic cover on the mouth of the cup. to mount the 'cup' im gonna drill another hole at the back of the cup and use an L shaped bracket to screw it with rubber washers to my frame.. the size of the cup is gonna be abt the height of the lamp.. do u guys think its feasible? now if only im free to head down to alexandra..
