Hi Bro & Sis, Asking for infro... If let say at a Cross junction traffic light with Flickering Green Arrow. Usually when Traffic light is Red and the Right Green Arrow is on... After the third flash is not allow to pass... If after the third flash can't stop in time and just pass at the cross junction... Is it fine to do so? Thanks....

diff junction hv diff flashing timing. as long as it's flashing, n u're within 3 or 2 arrow of the road, just speed up n clear the junction if u're confident, else slow down n stop, but dont e-brake, the vehicle following behind might misjudge and not stop in time. the green flashing arrow has shorter timing when at night, i once misjudged the flashing will be longer n dashed when it turned red, got camera but never flashed, didn't get letter also. so no, flashing don't mean stop, red is stop.

there's a slight allowance for the cam to activate if u dashed thur the red, however if u hesitate for 2-3 sec after the red, sure kenna summon (i dont know the exact allowance timing, so dont quote me). my advise, never hesitate in a junction, if u think u can clear, speed up n clear fast, dont think of want to stop or want to go n end up in the mid of the junction. if u kenna summon, so be it, it's better then u get hit by the car or obstructing traffic right.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

The flashing timing is different. Sometimes, on the same traffic light, the green arrow stays for a longer or shorter time, depending on the traffic light. Sometimes, it doesn't stay at all, but just flashes.

But i would say, maybe 1 to 2 secs after the flashing green arrow dissappears, i don't see it as a problem. Just don't turn once the other side starts moving.

In my opinion, it is not worth the try (when the Green arrow flashes). Ever happened to me - although not exactly green arrow flashing.

There was this "Idi@t" who tried to turn right (from opposite direction) when the junction seems CLEAR (blocked by heavy vehicle that broke down on middle lane).

There I was riding left lane, and he cheong. No need much work to guess what happened - crash, boom, bang... Moral of the story - exercise restraint. You do not want to be (DEAD) right...

1-2sec may be too long, i would say the flashing is dependent on how big the junction n traffic condition n time. want to go or stop all depend on ur judgement, there's no definately rule on the road, just a guage.

that's why, all based on driver's judgement. i had a similar experience once, the driver on the other side hesitated, he go n stop, then when i'm nearer, he cheong. lucky i swerve n he missed me, n lucky there was no traffic n i stopped in the mid of the road, after the junction, frighten out of my nerve. thus my advise, never hesitate in junction, u judge can go, just cheong FAST, else WAIT. it's very hard for the other guy to judge a hesistate driver.

another incident i had with this idiot, green arrow, not flashing, he brake n stop, i'm following behind, expecting the brake was to slow down. i horned n couldn't brake the distance in time. lucky swerve btw lane n crossed the junction.

My opinion is while you can do a MotoGP style high speed corner through the junction, it's not worth it to do so.

I will always slow down a hundred metres or so before the tempting flashing green arrow and convey clearly my intention -not- to rush it. Sometimes I do, if the corner is really easy and the road condition is predictable.

But never in traffic, because a lot of motorists love to jam brake in the middle of the corner leaving vehicles stuck in the yellow box (Oh no!). It's not about you being more skilled in cornering than the other person, just don't get into situations that put yourself at risk.

Can always play corner @ track :D

my experience with flickering arrow this morning; 2 lane turning right, on both lane there's this tall van which obstruct my view of the traffic lights completely. thru the window of the vehicle, i was only able to catch a glimpse of the arrow. however when i pass the junction, it was already red n no gone, vehicles are already starting to move, that's where i found myself dashing red light, however i dont see any flashing of the camera, so let's see if i get summon or not.
