I won't pay even $8000 for the bike... the rest is unavoidable coz insurance depends on your age.. regardless of what bike you buy.

Many thanks to Angelo for sharing his knowledge with me on DRZ. Was there the whole afternoon doing this and that on my bike that was collected this morning. A very friendly guy like some of u mentioned in the previous posts. Reasonable pricing and good workmanship. Thumps up... :)

Buying from shop or direct? In any sense that is way too expensive for a FBA plate.I got mine FCR, delta f/s,Ktm stuff, all under 9k.

Hi all, anyone knows how to rectify the following problem:

Turn on ignition, all lights fine.

Press starter button, bike can't start, but cranks.

during cranking, speedo/headlight no light.

Pull choke seems worse.

Turn throttle also doesn't help.

Damn sian, bike left in my workplace.

Brought the battery home to charge.

Hope it helps

Mine was the same the other day. Scratched my head with my boss over what could have been. Turned out it was a clogged air filter. If it can crank its probably not your battery bro.

If the battery voltage is below 12 volts... there may be starting problems. The starter motor takes away alot of the power from the battery during starting... not enough left for the spark plug to ignite.

You could have push start the bike but instead of just releasing the clutch to try and start the bike in 2nd gear.. hit the starter button at the same time. The bike might start then coz there is no load on the starter motor during a push start.

  • Thanks 1

thanks bros for replying to my predicament

i brought my freshly charged battery back to my workplace to fix onto my bike, and at the same time I also saw a piece of old coupon stuck at the intake of the airbox(under the pillion sitting area)

after installation of the battery and removal of the old coupon, I successfully started my bike.

lucky no need to spend money on a new battery, was contemplating to purchase the Lithium Battery from the MO section.

need to save some money for raptor's new shop opening sale!
