Thanks. Any other ways to maintain then? I'm only worried about the rust. Very unsightly.

The only way to maintain is to put in extra effort to polish it when it's dull.

Considering the accessories and the new spares parts sounds reasonable.

If the price u quoted includes insurance etc and also instalment interest, id say not bad. Just that 5 years is too long for a used drz if u ask me. Id go for 4 tops.

If its a good running bike with the mention accessories then its quite worth it lor.

hey bro.. the contact will be much appreciated. if you dun mind can give me the rough idea of the cost(roughly). pm me

i got the idea bro, but handling i think is equally important. not looking for a race set up but more of the available alternatives.

hello encik, i agree with u about this. but are those racers as heavy as me? been tweaking my suspension with the guide from your article from the other thread. anyway u helped me once in tuas before.

hi bro sorry late reply pm u already..thats right the stock setup is definitely a great setup but the springs on them is mainly for riders below 80 max..other than tat no matter how u set it up its def gona be too soft and the sag will def be off..u dont have to change everything..u can just swap the springs of ur weight and ur good to go if u dun wana spend a bomb revalving all..if ure a heavy dude like me and u think the stock setup works well for u then of course , carry on but u wont go back to it when u ride a properly setup bike for urself.. guarenteed feel like ure riding a diff bike..cheers

My H&B also got squeaky noise. Haven't got time to sort it out. I was thinking my problem was the rack touching the exhaust slider.

When I ride and feel the box behind quite steady. Or maybe it's the box and racks slight relative movement.

Let me know if you solved your problem.

Saw u at AYE e other day, recognize ur xplorer box haha. Well I tried putting rubbers at the base plate and rack there, cos I tot it was the rubbing friction between two metals. But not solve. So was thinking if it could be the rack issues. Thus thinking of getting the drz motech rack which doesn't require base plate also. But would like to get some advice from peeps here. I m surprised to hear u saying u hav tis prob too.

Oh yea. Hahaha. I'm in jurong west ma. U go to raptors?

Btw for the squeak right. I applied some Vaseline where the rack actually touches te box. Noticed some marks under the box. Brief test ride and didn't get the sound. Will try again when I go home from work.

Hi may i know what tyre size are most of you guys using? I'm using 160 and it's almost worn out so I'm thinking of changing to 150.

Can i ask what's the cost difference also please? I'm changing to bridgestone battlax.

Life is full of regrets but riding has never been one.

Most would go for the OEM spec as 150. Price difference I think you need to consider certain factors. Not just the price. Consider what mileage will it give u, grip in wet and dry, usage. Some tires cheaper but give u less life then in the end u end up changing tires more often.

Just my 2 cents.

Hi Ticks.

Ah. I see where you're coming from. I think generally you're looking at a range of 350-450? Between Michelin, Bridgestone and Metzelers. Cos when I went unique the guy told me the cheaper tire(dunno which brand d) is softer compound meaning shorter mileage meaning earlier change intervals. Then I looked up supermoto junkie, most of them opted fr the PIlot power for a good all rounder. So that was my choice.

And please don't be attracted to strangely cheap tires supposedly fitting to drz at 250 sgd. they're of the wrong profile. For S4, to be specific.
