Bro don't change first. Get wd 40. Spray a few times. Soak it overnight if you want to. Don't change first.

It's diff to do so when u pillion pple. Will adding and widening the rear seat helps too?

 

Bro try going eugene saddler(something like tt) along shops opposite regina. I heard they make good cusions. Widening will definatly help.

Like ticks mentioned, wd40 & knock it abit. Best take out the whole lock.

I'm using metal with white stickers. So far no prob. Wat happen to u? Number plate flew off due to vibration? If that's so mayb u could secure the bolts with 2 nuts. I did it for mine too

The major cause of the rear number plates cracking and breaking off is because its being blasted by the exhaust.

 

Diverting the exhaust outlet flow away from the plate will solve the problem.

Just want to check. You know usually we have decals on? It's usually laquered on right? For example if my plastics are black with decals on, I can't just peel off the decals to have the black pastics in good looking shape again right?

The major cause of the rear number plates cracking and breaking off is because its being blasted by the exhaust.

 

Diverting the exhaust outlet flow away from the plate will solve the problem.

alright, i know tis question gonna be quite random. is there any ways to make drz seat more comfortable. its kinda tiring with stock seats during trips from west to east. any suggestions anyone?..

 

I did mine at Eugene when I first got my bike. Lowered the rider part and widen the (rear of) rider and pillion portions. Much more comfortable and less tip-toeing on uneven road. Not much cheaper than buying the suzuki gel seat (lots of complains about the gel seat on overseas forum) but definite cheaper than Corbin etc.

 

If you want, we can meet up for you to check it out before spending the money.

decals are laminated then pasted on our bikes. u shd be able to peel them off nicely. leaving ur black plastics in the original state.

wats the price u paid for it? and wat was ur pillion feedback after u did it? for me single riding is ok, but when pillion then jialat, especially travelling from west to east.

Dont forget rubber washer for ur acrylic no. plate.

I don't want to be the party pooper.. but I am going to state the facts.

 

Leave the stock headlight alone,.. this is my strong advice for you. You want to change to any aftermarket ones without using the stock brackets... you are definitely asking for trouble.

 

All the wiring harness that is behind the headlight assembly will be crushed.

 

After some time.. due to the chaffing, shorting of the wire harness will occur. I have seen enough of this self induced problem.

 

In the end.. its your money and your bike. Please do as you please.

Over $100, can't remember. Pillion happy but then again I hardly pillion going from Tampines to Boon Lay so long way too.
