But need to ask you experts how do i raise my main suspension...as my Drz sm suspension is soft and too low for me...what should i do and any contacts or shop that can resolve this..

Its called polishing with Autosol.

hi all,

 

having some intermittent battery problems on my bike.

 

i ride my bike almost everyday and my bike is about a year old now.

 

occasionally the battery just goes flat overnight, like a sudden discharge/drain.

happens once every few months.

 

at first, there was a charging problem, and after diagnosing it to be the stator, I've gotten a new battery together with a new stator, just less than 2 months back.

I thought the problem would be fixed but alas, this morning my battery was flat again, at around 4volts.

 

i do not have any electrical accessories, except my IU, on my bike, no alarms.

 

any help?

 

so far, i've checked, my charging seems fine, idling at 13.9v to 14v.. and when i rev, it goes down to about 13.5v

after further testing, checked for current leakage when the everything is off.

 

meter alone takes up 1.7mA. with reference to TT free power mod thread, that is expected.

however, my IU shows a reading of 60mA.

i am wondering if that is within specifications... if that current draw is eating up my battery overnight..

if u want to run tubeless, get a proper tubeless rims for the job.. set urself 2k$ for alpinas or if u got more money to spent, get ur marchesinis..

ur stock rims are not meant to run tubeless. if you dun race, dun waste ur money but its ur money anyways..gd luck.

Hey guys, there is water in my fuel tank. Where do i fixed/repaired it? I know that draining out the fuel is part of the "cleaning" process but what about the washing carb part?

haha.. went there to diagnose my previous stator problem..

will ask about this problem when i go for my regular maintenance. for now just keeping my IU unplugged.

yea bro, can be done, i saw some post on TT but its not recommended. IMO if you wana do one, do it proper..later on you might come into problems that you have created upon urself. but its ur rims, by all means.. cheers

Bro y dont u get a bigger screw then. Maybe it will stay longer or silicon the screw at the sides. It might help. Ive been riding drz e for 6yrs previously and now the sm. Nvr had any issues abt eo leaking and loose screws.

Ive jus gotten myself the 2009 sm.really hate riding it and trying to sell it but im stuck with it now till i break even and can sell it off to e shops. Ive decided to change e tank to acerbis which was my spare tank tat i kpt when i had the e model 3yrs back. Maxed out the suspensions and changing offroads. Gonna cahnge all e parts and clean it up and make it look as gd as new.
